This lovely hotel and it's friendly staff were more than we could have hoped for. The place was charming and clean with every detail in perfect order. I will recommend this to any traveler who wants a quiet place a short walk to the oceanside and town center. The hostess gave us good tips for places to visit and our trip has been wonderful for them! Thank you!

This hotel is picturesque and charming. Quaint. Cozy. Feels as though you’re in a friend’s home. The staff could not have been more accommodating. The hotel is clean and warmly decorated. Our room had a small balcony with chairs, ample drawers and closet space and wonderful bath products. The breakfast buffet was beautiful and tasty. We walked to the beach and to town - we could have taken one of the bikes if we’d been a bit more adventureous!!!

It is more like a B&B without the charming couple.The place is really OLD, the outside is not very visible (make sure that you program your GPS or waze) from the outside. The front desk is creepy, filled with frogs, and although it has a nice terrace and garden, the breakfast (if you can call it that) is served on the 3 floor in an ugly room. The room itself was OK, but not for the price. As I mentioned the breakfast is very small and poor, the only hot thing there is the toast, if you put it into the toaster yourself.The town of Fortei is very nice and charming.But if you want to go there, you can find better alternatives that offer a better price/quality ratio.

Nice kept old hotel not far from the beach. Many bicycles available for easy travel within Forte dei Marmi. Attentive staff .Good breakfast with little room for improvement. All we missed was a swimming pool as water at the Riviera was pretty dirty during our stay.

The Franceschi is a little oasis - almost a piece of the countryside by the sea. The service is so good, effortless and grown-up that its almost from another era. Every guest gets a bicycle and you can be on the beach within 5 minutes or just stay in the quiet seclusion of the beautiful hotel garden.

The hotel is pretty well located ..it was quiet and comfortable. Parking was fine. The intended was a bit sketchy on my phone. Breakfast was the usual fare; yet, nice quality.
