Very pleasant staff. Comfortable bed. I was assigned a quiet room but it was very noisy from the roof top bar next door. Ear plugs definately needed. Unfortunately the carpet in the bedroom did smell, they did provide a spray for the room. Good internet connection.

Very good location, staff excellent and suoer helpful. Room large and comfortable. Lots of shops, restaurants etc around the hotel. Decent breakfast with vegan options. Tricky to find parking but once directions sorted, parking secure and easy to use. Swimming pool too popular, didnt get to use it but good to see everyone enjoying it.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It's a very convenient location for the town centre and the railway station. A little more attention needed towards maintenance and cleanliness: the extractor fan in our shower room wasn't working which was a minor inconvenience and the shower head neads cleaning. The staff were very helpful with suggestions re places to visit.

Hotel is well situated for exploring Chambrey, just a few minutes walk from the old city. Booked a larger room which was well appointed, but all of these rooms overlook the local outside brasserie and bar terrace which was very noisy right through to 11:30pm. We asked be moved to a different but smaller room for the next night which escaped the rooftop bar noise. In both rooms the air conditioning controls made no difference to the temperatures, even after a lesson from reception. Consequently we suffered badly from the night time heat during a very hot few days. Disappointing continental breakfasts. Had to park in the station car park 5 minutes walk away. Staff very friendly and helpful but not my favourite French hotel!

Stayed for just one night. Check in and check out were smooth with friendly receptionists. The elevator was having an issue when we first arrived so one lady kindly helped us carry our suitcases up two flights of stairs to our room; no more elevator issues after that initial snafu. The room was small but large enough for the two of us and our two carry ons / 1 large check in suitcase. The room itself was clean although the shower was showing some age (the nooks and crannies could probably use a good scrubbing). The balcony was nice but the tiles on the balcony were broken and clearly hadn't been updated or cleaned recently. The room also had an odd smell of cigarettes / cleaning products that either dissipated by the next morning or our noses got used to it. The bed was comfy as were the pillows. We didn't partake in the breakfast buffet the next day but the free bottled water and hot water dispenser in the lobby were nice. Wifi was solid and relatively fast with no issues. Overall, decent hotel for a great price in the middle of Chambery / near the station.

We stayed for one night only. Great location and we had a good night sleep. Chambery centre was fantastic. Room does have a frigde, which was a pity ... we disnt have time to visit the pool because so many things to do in town 😃

A very nice hotel. Clean and comfortable, free wi-fi & well equipped bathroom. Very friendly and helpful staff, buffet breakfast with good variety and well stocked. Massive bonus was in reception there was complimentary Tea, Coffee & refrigerated bottled water! When the thermometer hit 35, most welcome. There is a very comfortable bar and lounge area. The hotel is very central, 5 minutes from the station & very close to the main part of town:- Tourist Office, Cathedral, shops, bars,restaurants and of course the Elephant Fountain just a few minutes walk away. The hotel also had a small indoor pool which would be an added bonus for some guests.

Asked for the tv remote and was told it’d be delivered to my room - I wasn’t!!! The ‘complimentary’ shower wash was empty and and no milk for the provided tea and coffee!? The room was small and was noisy from other hotel guests and nearby traffic. Found a pair of socks by the bed also!! wasn’t cleaned or stocked up it seems!!!

Room was very small. Only one small pillow provided each. We paid for a Comfort Room with city view - the view was just a flat roof. The air on in the room was ineffective. So not a a comfortable stay and a poor nights sleep mainly due to the lack of pillows. We were charged 15 Euros each for a very poor buffet breakfast. There is no on-site parking, we were directed to a public car park about 600 metres away. On the positive side the hotel is well located for the town centre which is about 300 metres.
