Lovely Real Chateau Exoerience
Lovely spacious room with tea and coffee making facilities. Dogs alowed every where with us. Poo bags and biins well positioned. Great walks round the geounds. Spacious bathroom. Old-chic atmosphere. Very pleasant.
The ambient lightting was a bit too low in the communal areas and especially the restaurant. I think it was because it was a buusy period between Christmas and New Year that the waiters were sometimes a bit forgetful.

Lovely stay
Staff is very friendly and the hotel has its charm. There is a nice restaurant in the hotel. Room is clean and comfortable. Big parking.
Heating in the bathroom was not working. The room was in a separate building from restaurant so you have to walk outside to get to the restaurant.

One of the best Chateau stays we have ever had
We had a delightful time staying at Candie, loved the old world charm of Chateau and its surroundings, staff were so accomodating and the morning breakfast offerings were the best we came across in our European holiday. Would also recommend the restaurant at night, as it exceeded our expectations and obvious to us the management of Candie took great delight and pride in providing their guests with an exceptional experience.

The room was perfect - especially when travelling with a dog. There were hotel grounds and nearby walks for our furry friend. The hotel restaurant was just superb.

A fantastic chateau with an enchanting atmosphere, old but young, great and helpful staff, the restaurant so great with wonderful food and staff…. The rooms were wonderful with all you need and lovely decorated…. We will be back .

A lovely hotel, but needs more lighting!
The room was really spacious and stylish, and the bed was very comfortable. The restaurant team were really friendly and welcoming and the food was delicious. The location was great, with excellent parking and really quiet.
There was a general lack of lighting! The bedroom was lit with only three small lamps and one spotlight above the settee, which was inadequate, given the size of the room. In addition, there was minimal lighting in the restaurant, and we had to use the torch on our mobile phone in order to have enough light to read the menu!
