The Classic Studio The bed was comfortable, and the shower was really nice. The whole place was very welcoming and clean. The front desk staff were helpful and polite. I had a lovely stay.

Great little hotel just a stones throw away from the old town and central district. We had great clean rooms obviously recently decorated and very comfortable. good secure parking for our cars. Only problem was Tuesday night as there was a busy and noisy bar close to the rooms on the front street, Wednesday night was quiet so don’t know if this was a regular noise night.

While the actual apartment was nice, it was hard to get past the initial arrival, when I discovered a very lived-in apartment that had not been cleaned beforehand. I had to notify the staff, then leave for a few hours to allow them to clean it. That has never happened to me before at a hotel. The breakfast was ok, but the fruit was old and somewhat rotten and not all the options were fresh or desirable. While I don't expect everyone in non-English speaking countries to speak English, the front desk staff not speaking English made my interactions difficult at times. I would absolutely not stay here again.

Loved the separate apartment and the secure parking. The staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was excellent. The apartment was large, really a suite, and one could have made and eaten all meals there.

We stayed 2 nights at the Garden Hotel. It was very well located in Rennes, which was important to us. An easy 10 min walk to the train and metro station, and the same in the opposite direction for the fine arts museum and outdoor mall. Our room for 3 felt a bit small, but that is on me, as the room size was given in the details. The staff was extremely helpful in providing emergency information to my husband when I became ill, and generally pleasant as we went in and out. Our room was very clean well kept. The bed was comfortable, the shower was very nice with hot water for both of us and plenty of pressure. My only real complaint was when we returned from a daytrip, the radiator had been turned off in our room with no way for us to turn it back on. The same with the bathroom hot air heater - no remote. We should have spoken with the desk, but it was late and I was ill. We did find a small portable room heater in the armoire that did the trick, so we were fine. We did not take breakfast there, so I cannot speak to that. All-in-all, our stay during the cold, wet early winter season was good, the location and staff excellent, and the room clean and relatively comfortable.

Room was far too small, kettle too small, bathroom ok although floor was dirty and no toilet roll or tissues. No window in room only one in the door. There was no privacy as people were having breakfast outside our door. We would certainly NOT recommend this place.

This hotel is better located than I first thought by just looking at the map. The facilities are bright and cheery, the staff helpful, the parking a real asset. These are not luxury facilities but they are equipped with everything needed. The breakfast is good and they even provided me with gluten free bread on the second day with advance notice. A great place to come back to!

This was a convenient budget hotel great for a stopover to visit the city. The room was a bit battered but everything functional. Helpful friendly staff. The dining area is compact creating a friendly cozy family feel. Nice breakfast. I would definitely go back if visiting Rennes again.

Comfortable room, dated and quite small but clean and useable. Fantastic location between the train station and middle of town, which was only a 5 min walk. Only problem was that you could hear voices and movements of other guests, wasnt constant or too loud but noticeable. Would stay here again despite this.

The hotel is located an easy 10 min walk from the main train station. We were allocated a family room at the Garden Apartment block just a minute walk from the main hotel. It was nice cosy place equipped with a stove, utensils and coffee maker. Staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms came with good Wifi connection. We had a great 3 night stay there.

I had a wonderful 4 nights at this place. The staff were all excellent and went out of there way to help us. The location was fantastic, short walk from the train Station so great for day trips out of Rennes and close to the centre/old part of town which was beautiful to explore.

Hotel was pretty close to the train station (less than 1km) and close to the downtown area of Rennes. Nice staff, room was small, but pleasant and had nice views of the garden. Some nice touches, like a tea kettle and blow dryer made the stay especially pleasant. Very close to some small stores for baguettes, meat, cheese and pastries, so very easy to have a quick meal in between travels.

I flew to Renne airport and stayed on my arrival and before my departure. It is only a short walk from the centre, station and airport bus. My first room was a small double with rather gloomy lighting and lacking a picture but had an excellent modern en suite, the second was a bigger room with better lighting and pictures but the bathroom was older with a bath and the shower head attachment had broken. A pleasant room though. The first room looked out onto a busy road but the double glazing was good. The only problem was that it was then very hot, the second room was much quieter, off a small balcony with the outlook onto rather scruffy tenement buildings. However it is in the centre of a city so it's not surprising! There is a pleasant small courtyard area where you can have drinks, breakfast etc. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and all that I met spoke good English.
