Staff were lovely,room was basic,as expected,but clean and roomy ,would have liked a bigger bed.but overall a pleasant 1 night stopover.

Room was absolutely freezing on arrival. And bedding dirty/stained with dodgy stains The bathroom had no form of heating at all . Bedding was changed. But it should never have been like that Heating we were told had been sorted, complained again, was told it was on but it went off again 5 minutes later then i was given a portable heater . So three attempts to lift the room temperature from 14 degrees on a wet windy cold day . It was obvious that this is an issue they are used to dealing with . I was offered a free drink but i asked for the manager to contact me regarding a room reduction as my visits to reception were getting frustrating . I have not had any contact Breakfast was ok but we were there at exactly 6.30and it was already tepid. The scrambled eggs were something weird - question “egg” Staff were accommodating but they most certainly appeared used to having to deal with a heating issue . I was offered another room (for the mattress) then told I couldn’t have be offered another room (for the heating ) because they were full . Rather contradictory -maybe the heating was the same in all rooms ?) Chosen for convenience to ferry and early breakfast , was steeply priced for what was delivered, even if we had had heating, definitely wouldn’t stay again.

Very clean and comfortable room and helpful staff. Very good self service breakfast included although being picky it would have been nice to have had fried eggs and mushrooms available with the cooked breakfast. We would certainly be happy to use the hotel again.

I was in room 307, which was great. Ensuite was lovely and clean. TV in room was good and WiFi was great. Car Park was large but not free. Breakfast was included in price of room, I had a cooked breakfast - the scrambled egg was very grainy (not pleasant). I also had a chirizo and chicken panini in the evening and there was very little chicken in it! In summary room and staff were great but would not eat here again.

Everything about this hotel was great. Location perfect for theatre and town. Staff couldn’t do enough for us, room was clean and well appointed. Breakfast was superb - great variety to suit all tastes and constantly being replenished.

I don't drive and found the hotel very convenient for the bus station in Poole. My room was clean and comfortable and I enjoyed the 2.dinners I had. The breakfast selection was good.

We had a nice one-night stay at this well-kept hotel. Everything was clean, attractive and well-maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, had a roomy bathroom, comfortable bed and everything as expected. The breakfast was good, with several choices. We have no complaints and recommend this as a good choice in Poole. It is within walking distance of the train station.

We were visiting the tank museum at Bovington and needed a stopover after a 200m drive and this was perfect for us. The staff were pleasant and efficient, there is a bar on site for refreshments and the room was clean, comfortable and equipped with a fully functioning air conditioning system. Breakfast was included in the price and there is everything you would expect on offer and was perfect for starting the day on. We would be very happy to return to the hotel and probably will in the future.

Accommodation very expensive I thought the staff were friendly and helpful Noise from station and trains to one side of hotel. Area somewhat run-down so not ideal location The tyranny of Parking Eye follows like a bad dream. What an exploitative company! They should be closed down for harassment.
