Would have been excellent if there had been sufficient heating, blanket and something to eat breakfa

Lovely spacious minimalist room

I wasn’t given the door code, so that created a hiccup There was kettle, fridge, iron, fan but no cutlery at all or plate/bowl so couldn’t eat my breakfast (owners were both out so couldn’t help) Also, radiator didn’t come on and there was no extra heater. And the room badly needs a blanket or bedspread as duvet was thin.

Perfect for a short stay in Poole

The bed was really comfortable and the room was big and very clean. The bathroom and shower room were lovely too. We had all the amenities we needed and the property was in a great location for us to visit friends. The host made sure we had enough towels. Perfect stay in Poole

Clean, modern feel. Parking although restricted but worked fine. Host was an excellent communicator.

The bed was so comfortable and the room was very neat. The tv had already logged in Netflix which was cool. I was there for just a night but I felt pampered.

The location was very conveniently close to the centre of Poole and also the quay area. Both the bedroom and the bathroom (shared with one other room) had very thoughtful 'touches of luxury', which I appreciated.

The parking was a bit tricky! James did warn me that, being a Wednesday evening, there would be Speedway Racing on (the stadium is close by - but no noise from it). The usual on-street parking spaces were all taken up by Speedway spectators. I arrived around 9pm, and Speedway was due to finish at 9:30pm so a waited around until some spaces cleared. James did suggest I use the property's parking space at the rear but that, and the access lane to it, is very tight indeed. My medium-size car (Qashqai) didn't fit. A small car would have been OK, I think. On street parking is unlimited overnight 6pm to 8am. Daytime is limited to residents.

Light house loft is a charming, bright and spotless retreat, with lovely hosts and a wonderful atmosphere.

Light house loft is a charming little spot fairly central to Poole. My partner and I had only initially come to Poole for the day, but loved the place and had more we wanted to do so impulsively stayed the night. Although we weren’t really equipped for an overnight stay, Light house loft had all the amenities you could need for such an adventure :) it was also exceptionally clean and entirely dust free (great for someone with allergies!) Sharing a bathroom isn’t a compromise at all, as both are also kept pristine and are easily locking (with vacant/occupied locks to save you an embarrassing push on the handle!)

As a disabled person it was a tiny bit of a walk out from the harbour, but for any ordinary person it’s perfect!

It was a spacious and well-equipped room. The light sensors on the stairs, landing, and in the WC were very handy and most appreciated. There were some lovely little touches in the room, such as a little fridge with drinks on offer. It was a tranquil and light space. We found parking right outside and since it was a weekend there was no restriction.

We appreciated the room lock; however, it was somewhat troublesome when we needed to use the toilet during the night. Perhaps a door wedge would help? The stairs were quite steep, not too challenging when going up as there is a handrail to help but a little intimidating when going down. Due to the humidity, sleeping was difficult, but the hosts kindly provided a fan for the room.

Shared toilet and shower room. Doors opening and closing during the night and very early morning due to the other occupants’ use of the bathroom facilities. Permit parking on street between 8am and 6pm, or limited to 2 hours. Space at the rear too tight for long car. No cafe or restaurant close to the accommodation, only takeaway.

Communication excellent, the room was spotless and very well thought through for all needs. Good bed - if a tad short (I’m 5’8”), e Ellen’s pillows and really super bathroom with a lovely shower and wall mounted shampoo, body wash etc. Also quiet, light and a very sweet little terraced road.

Nothing I didn’t like but some things I would look at -room temperature very warm cos only one v small openable window in the bay of windows. Would have liked a full length mirror in the room, although I appreciate that’s personal preference and not a fault of the property. Worth noting parking restrictions apply Mon-Sat 8am-6.30pm although apparently wardens don’t come past 5pm .

Nicely mett my needs at a cheaper price than any hotel this week

It was fresh, the shower water was hot. Had to share shower room with another room but was not a problem. Tea facilities and bottle water was a nice touch

Arrivés vers 21h30 (heure locale) nous n’arrivions pas à trouver l’emplacement pour taper le code. Nous avons sonné et le propriétaire est arrivé de suite charmant voulant même nous aider pour monter nos valises.

Difficile de trouver une place pour se garer !

Das Zimmer war sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Lage war auch okay.

Das Bett war leider zu kurz und zu schmal, wir sind dann nur 1 Nacht geblieben anstatt drei. Der Parkplatz war auch zu klein und in einer finsteren Nebenstrasse, wir mussten dann in einer anderen Straße einen Parkplatz suchen mitten in der Nacht.
