Only good review I have is the bed, as I needed a good night sleep. Everything else was very poor. Reception on arrival were slow miserable and not helpful with no enthusiasm. Expensive small glass aperitivo from the “bar” and we could not drink them as they tasted so bad. The glasses were still on the table a few hrs later. The food was awful.. rubbery and burnt. How can you serve thick rubbery veg and tough chicken with burnt chips at a 4*? as well as the staff with no enthusiasm. Max 2*

Photos suggest a nice roof terrace and accessible pool, neither are the case. Pool is paid and extremely small, terrace is covered and not cozy at all... The wind caused much noise through the shutter in front of my window. Furthermore it was excellent: good breakfast, clean, spacious room.

Check in and check out much to long and complicated, local people were paying much less then tourists. The breakfast was surprisingly good and varied. Animals allowed, heard barking all night in other room, so was an animal in my room before.

Reception was friendly and helpful. Room was very big and kind of retro style. Breakfast room was crowded and a bit difficult to use when there were a lot of people. Location is about 3-4km from the city centre, but you can find restaurants, cafés and a supermarket just around the hotel. Also self service laundry is right next to the hotel. One negative (that couldn't be quickly found out on the hotel description) was the use of the pool. Pool is a part of SPA services and that means you'll have to pre reserve it and pay for it. 15e/2,5h. But in the heat it was worth it. Pool area is very small, but nice.

The first day the a/c was off for an issue at the hotel. The second day the problem was solved and the hotel offered to pay for our 2 dinners because of the inconvenience. Potential deal breaker situation Brilliantly solved. Thanks

Just a short drive from the F1 track, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel was clean. All this made for an enjoyable quick stop on our road trip. The highlight was the pizza and best pasta ever (chef’s special) that we enjoyed in the hotel restaurant.

Hotel was very clean and observing Covid rules. Reception staff were particularly helpful printing forms for us. Secure garage parking was appreciated. Dinner was very tasty.

The hotel has plenty of parking and we were among the crowd in town for a track day at Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari. The entrance area is a little run down and needs new carpet, but the check in was quick and easy and the bar is nice. The hotel restaurant is average and I wish I had ordered something other than the Griliata Mista Di Carne. The breakfast was good and offered a good variety with quality food, but the room is a little small. Supposedly there is another breakfast area on the ground floor. The view from the 10th floor breakfast room was nice. The room was really spacious and included a king sized bed. It was a little hot for me, so we had to sleep with the window open, which meant we had to listen to people yelling and the 3 AM sport bike racing through the city. You have no control over the temperature. The staff were fantastic and very helpful. The bathroom had good water pressure and plenty of hot water.

Disappointed with the room which was dated. The hotel was a mish mash of decoration and had an unpleasant smell. There was no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. The breakfast room was full and there was only one hot drinks machine, with a queue of eople waiting to get a drink. Someone brought a dog into the breakfast room which kept jumping up people. There was a rude waitress who would not let me fill the teapot up with hot water, despite teapots being provided. She waved her hands at me and shooed me away!!! Spaces in the garage too small, people parking across two bays.

I suspect there are Bolivian prison cells with more charm and character than the room at Donattello. Hotel location not great. Hotel management totally inflexible. Don't care about the guest when the booking is pre-paid.

The staff here were extremely helpful. During our stay they helped us make arrangements with other places that we could not do on our own due to the language barrier. Belinda took the time and made the arrangements for us. The manager was also very helpful with the process. Just for the staff alone this place gets 5stars.

Stayed here for the night on our way from Bologna as we wanted to go to Imola. Room was nice and large, clean and comfy. Nice staff. Ate at the restaurant where my husband had one of the nicest steaks he said he’s ever eaten. I had pasta (lovely!) unfortunately pizza chef was on holiday but kids managed to find something they liked too! Overall a great experience

The hotel is just ok. The front desk staff was moody and not too helpful. Though clean, the non-smoking room smelled like smoke. We stayed one night because it was difficult to find a hotel more central to Bolgona. The downside it the taxi fare from the airport is around 70 euros. If you were heading towards Rimini it would be a great stopover. Bar was expensive 10 euros for 2 x half lagers!!!

The hotel has seen better days, it needs painting or refurbishing. It looks outdated and kind of old. The reception staff is very kind but not very well prepared. For example we asked if the Imola train station had a place to keep our luggage since we were going to MOdena for the day and then to Florence and they did not advise us correctly. They just offered to keep our luggage instead of telling us that there is a place like that at the Bologna station and there was no need to go back to the hotel. We could have gone directly from Modena, to Bologna and then to Florence instead of loosing 3 hours going back to the hotel for our luggage. That is something people from the reception should know. The food at the Restaurant was a great surprise, SUPERB! But again, the service, awful, two days in a road we left wothout coffee because the forgot we asked for some and we had to leave. Its a pitty.They brought the dishes but not the cuttlery to eat it. and so on....... I am sure there must be better choices at Imola.

Hotel entrance is from a public car park surrounded by shabby shops and businesses, in a residential neighborhood, but once inside it gets much better. Pleasant bar and reception, good breakfast room on 10th floor. Room was clean and comfortable. All a bit dated but generally good or better.
