    The hotel is old but clean enough. It’s good for sleeping after a long day exploring venice but don’t expect too much. The breakfast is okay. There’s no elevator but the staff helped me carry my bags upstairs so it’s not too bad. Overall I would recommend it if you just want to have a basic place to sleep at a very good location in venice.

    My husband and I were very pleased with the Hotel Marconi. The location was excellent, the staff friendly and helpful, and our room clean and comfortable. The included breakfast was exceptional!

    Reception was working on a tour issue so was too busy to answer questions about early check-in. Very stressed individual. 4th floor room did not cool down in May. Very poor AC. Furnishings from the 1940’s. Only sheets and towels were new. Long walk from train station and from boat to airport over many bridges. *** per night for single beds in a small room that is hot and has tired decor is too much. We had our booked hotel cancel at the last minute so had to book this one. Ignore the glowing over the top reviews. The breakfast was good-quality/quantity but the staff left most tables dirty while they talked in the kitchen.
