Staying at this Chateau was a wonderful experience. We received a friendly welcome, a small booking error was resolved quickly. Our cases were carried up to our room which was spacious (huge) clean and comfortable. The decor was beautiful. We had a lovely meal in the garden which is well manicured. We really didn’t want to leave, and I’m sure we’ll be back.

When the hotel realised they changed the picture and offered us a free upgrade

Lovely cause to a beautiful spot. Apart from the rooms smelling slightly damp everting was perfect and comfortale. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything when we forgot our travel adapters

Beautiful hotel in peaceful, lovely area. Spacious, luxury room with great sized bathroom. We were also given room with large terrace/balcony overlooking beau gardens. Fantastic! Hotel gas upmarket, gourmet restaurant with adventurous menu options. Staff are great and very helpful. We felt thoroughly spoilt staying here.

A beautiful property in a pretty town. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Room tastefully decorated with everything you could need from kettle to iron and board. Beautiful gardens. We had the set menu one evening which was very reasonable; was fine dining which we don’t often go for but very nice for a treat. Walkable to town centre where there are lots of restaurants and bars and several nice shops. A pretty little tearooms right near hotel. Walking around the old ramparts was very picturesque and we enjoyed the Bastille fireworks. Will definitely be back!

This property is well-located for touring the area, but especially the charming town of Montreuil-sur-mer. The dinner was excellent, the breakfast sumptuous. Lovely rooms with spacious and complete bathrooms (loved our vanity table!) and sitting area made us more than comfortable. The weather was unseasonably warm so being able to open the windows was helpful. The beautifully manicured gardens were a delight.

The room was very comfortable with a bacon you that had a view of the garden. The meal we enjoyed in the evening was excellent, specifically the steak. We had an issue with the toilet in the room (4) but the porter did manage to resolve it on the second attempt.

This was our last stop on a 14 day road trip thru four countries and it was by a good margin the finestlodging and restaurant we experienced. The chateau public and private rooms are in a class by themselves and the staff is not far behind. Five star all the way. We will return

We had searched for a good hotel within an hour of Calais and were not disappointed: we were made most welcome having booked for one night en route to Nice. The environment is interesting, the hotel clean and the grounds tidy and well kept. Our room was very clean and spacious and the bathroom was fine with separate bath and shower. We dined in, which was expensive but well worth it. The food was excellent as was the service and the Sommelier passed my test with flying colours: asked to recommend a light red wine he came up with one at 35 euros, one of the least expensive on the list! Breakfast was fresh and served - no self-service buffet here. Of the three (new to us) hotels we used on this trip, this is the only one to which we will return, we hope over many years.
