    Located in Bayswater, the hotel is just a few minutes’ walk from both Bayswater and Queensway Underground stations, making it really convenient for getting around London. Compared to many budget hotels in London, we found this one to be a good choice. The building is old, but we didn’t mind that at all. A big plus is that the rooms have air conditioning, which was definitely appreciated during our stay. You can hear a little street noise, but it quietens down after around 9pm. The area also has plenty of great restaurants, especially Asian food, as well as convenient stores nearby. Overall, a convenient and reasonably priced stay in a great location.

    If you are coming to london in summer, please note that not all rooms in this hotel have AC. I booked 3 rooms and all of them did not have AC. Apparently only certain type of room have AC. One of the room that we got was in the basement level and it was too hot we couldn’t even sleep even with the fan as we couldn’t open the windows. Had to upgrade to a new room still with no AC but better with the fan. The staff on the morning shift were quite unfriendly when we explained that our room was too hot and requested a room change. We were even willing to pay for any available room upgrade, but the interaction still felt unwelcoming. However, the staff on the pm shift, the indian young man was very helpful and very nice to us, and all the hotel guests. He was very friendly and accommodating, and he kindly helped with our requests and any issues with the room.

    If you have a lot of luggages or just heavy suitcases in general, the way the floors are set up will be very difficult for you to get your luggages to your room. On our last day there, our room keys/lock are also broken and they couldn’t figure out why we couldn’t get into our room.
