A beautifully presented hotel. The room was immaculate, as was everywhere else in the hotel. Oodles of hot water in the well-appointed bathroom. Comfortable bed with good pillows. The staff cannot be faulted and I'd like to pay a particular compliment to Arthur, on reception when we checked in, for his service which went above and beyond.

Overall the stay was fine. Needed to change rooms initially because of a noisy generator. Very small fitness area and the sauna/hammam is only accessible for an extra fee. The bed was comfortable, although the water pressure for the shower wasn't great. Staff were nice. Check-out at 12 was convenient.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights in what was supposedly the largest room and it had an incredibly strange layout. The toilet and closet were by the front door and then you walked down a hallway to get to the bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom was large but again the layout was strange. Also, the room was on the 5th floor but the elevator only goes to the 4th floor, so we had to walk up a spiral staircase (with all our luggage) to get to our room. We were pleasantly surprised to see the bathroom had a large jacuzzi tub and walk in shower. The double sink vanity was also a nice touch. Overall the hotel was good. It's on the perimeter of the historical center (~3-5 minute walk to get there). There wasn't much charm in the hotel or the room but it was pretty clean and they provided bath robes and slippers. The AC worked and the windows blocked out the sound. And we got a nice view of the historic center. The bed was comfortable and large. There was no shampoo or conditioner (it was a body wash/shampoo mix) and there was no body lotion - just something to keep in mind. The staff were very nice and helpful (a little too helpful). I asked for a second keycard the following day since we only received one at checkin. I offered to show them my license, but they didn't want to see it. They asked for no info and just handed me over a key. A different woman who checked us in, in the evening was a hoot and helped us park the car (the garage is very narrow but it is France).

Be aware that parking on site has to be pre-booked. To use the steam room and Sauna is not included in the room price. The reception staff were very helpful and the room was clean. The centre of the town is only a few minutes away.

I loved my stay here for three nights. Street parking was convenient, and it's an easy walk to the walled city. They serve a very good breakfast and have a bar for a nightcap. I loved the lay out of the room. The people at reception were kind and helpful.

This hotel isn't located on an especially lovely block, but it is within a block of the walled old town and harbor. We stayed during the pandemic of 2020 and they did a very good job of protecting their guests while still delivering in person front desk and breakfast services. The room was clean and comfortable.

Charming and thoroughly helpful staff. Easy....I mean really easy check in...good value breakfast. The room was a little jaded around the edges, but we felt the value for money was outstanding...we’d stay again. If you want honest, real and friendly charm, and don’t need tiny bottles of fancy shampoos in your room, this is the place to stay in Vannes.

Close to town centre, you can walk to the harbour in 10 minutes, parking at hotel means no worries about where to leave the car, there is a small charge for this but's it's woth it.

Nice little hotel, a 5-minute walk away from the Vannes old town area, in a good commercial neighborhood. The room was small, on par with French size standards, and the bathroom was large. It was comfortable and clean. We did not have breakfast on site as there is a bakery across the street. Parking is on the street. Staff was helpful and friendly. Would stay there again.

The Hotel is small but beautifully decorated and maintained. The location is good, being a five minute walk to the medieval quarter and walled city. Parking is on the street and is metered, but was not a problem.

I dont want to write a negative review because what we experienced in terms of weather conditions was truly exceptional and unlikely to be repeated more than once or twice a year. The thermometer on the pharmacy across the road went up to 40 degrees on one day! However, if you visit during the summer months you may have to take into account that the rooms have no air conditioning and there are no fans in the rooms.I stayed for three nights and rarely slept for more than a couple of hours without having to take a shower even in the middle of the night. However, it is in a good location, theres secure parking as long as you dont have a tall vehicle (we just got our Ford Galaxy in but it needed one to drive and the other to get out and guide the driver for overhead obstacles). There is a Eu 6.50 per night charge for this though. Parking is free on the street up until 0900 hrs.Probably the only other word of warning is to take the breakfast cost into consideration when assessing the overall cost of the stay. I think Eu 9.50 is a bit steep for that class of hotel and this needs to be factored into your budget.However, the staff are great and location is pretty central for everything and easy walking distance of the railway station and old town. I would recommend it even taking into account the above considerations.

Very nice continental breakfast. Staff very helpful. Conveniently close to old town. Main downside was that the room was very small; could just about squeeze down each side of the bed; virtually nowhere to put baggage.
