The cleaning staff were fantastic, BUT... The pillows were massive. Unusable for regular-size humans. Getting "normal" sized pillows took two days, several calls to Housekeeping, the front desk and finally a walk down to the Front Desk. It souldn't have taken that much effort and the new pillows were still ridiculously HUGE. The towels were far from soft. The door to the room didn't quite close all the way which we discovered upon returning to an unlocked room the second day. The shower door scraped when you opened or closed it. Most of all the rooms lights were way bright. There was no way to have softer light in the room. A dimmer would have solved this.

The lobby stank of cigarette smoke, the kids have to walk through that to get to the elevators. The room itself, the curtains were torn, one section off its hook, the cabinet door to the fridge wouldn't close and no matter how many yimes you called room setbife, housekeeping or the front desk, no one would actually come and drop off the things asked for. Just a horrible experience. Never staying here again.

Room was 75 degrees with some thermostat from 80s that never allowed the room to cool down to sleep left early tried to cancel 2nd night not sure if that ever went through .. I was charge 140 from you then 225 when I got there not sure how that all worked out but ya terrible

Harrahs is great. I love the smell of cigarette smoke and air freshener as I walk into the hotel lobby. Nothing better than walking through the hotel casino early in the morning to catch a view of the gamble zombies playing the slots. Their emptiness and blank stares coupled with the bent ember from the cigarette in hand holding a watered down cocktail is priceless. 5 stars

Harrah’s Lake Tahoe is a decent stay mainly because of the location. The premium rooms are spacious but a bit dated, though the two bathrooms were a nice and very useful surprise, and housekeeping only every three days is odd so you need to ask for towels and coffee. Food options are rough for vegetarians and DoorDash is the way to go, while the Starbucks inside is pricey at about $10 for a venti latte. Being right next to the Heavenly Gondola is the biggest plus, putting this at about a 3 to 4 star stay overall.

We booked this hotel for the indoor pool. The pictures made it look lovely. Oh boy we're we wrong. The temperature of the water was freezing, not cold like an outdoor pool, Fing freezing. Not only that but they had the air on blasting so the room was freezing g too.

My wife and I go here about every other month and I am tired of the valet parking self service parking the resort fees, the taxes all the other incidentals that is just ridiculous. The fees are outrageous. It is nowhere near what it’s advertised and Southlake Tahoe is no longer The economical trip it used to be. We are highly disappointed after all these years of staying here it has become too expensive and there’s no reason to come back.

We were locked out of our room a day early. Even though we showed our Hotels.cok booking, the staff would not believe us. The manager called security on us. It tool over an hour to sort out. Very poor customer service. Not to mention the aging state of the hotel and lack of cleanliness.
