2 out of our 3 rooms did not have a working heater. Our room which was a king with a balcony was unfortunately downgraded to a double Queen room. We were moved twice because of a non functional heater. It would have been great for staff to check before giving us a new room. We returned back after a late evening and the heater was not working. I did let the front desk know but we were too tired to do anything. The second to last day I did let the front desk know to look into it while we were out for a few hours. Staff said they would but didn’t do anything when I came back to follow up. We were moved again and finally had a room with heat.

The room is so hot aircon is not working.We didnt sleep the whole night this is a bda experience.We called the front desk to send a maintenance guy but when the maintenance guy said he cannot do anything because they cannot drill at night time.We spoke to the hotel manager and she said they will give us 20% refund of what we paid and they will waived our parking and resort fee.Please contact me through my email [email protected] or call 4159901763.Thank you

Great overall experience can’t think of even one negative thing to change. Looks like you are adding onto the building with some new renevations. Can believe just some 8 years ago it was a hard rock hotel and casino and now I feel that golden nugget has found their place in South Lake Tahoe.

Toilet flooded at 11:00 pm phone didn’t work so had to walk to lobby to tell them. No one came to fix it until 8am. I had to walk to the casino 3 times to use the bathroom. I was in the 15th floor and had to go to level one to use the bathroom because no cane until the morning

I will start off by saying the hotel was under construction. When I made my reservations a few months prior, I was aware that they were renovating some rooms, but I didn’t know the whole hotel was getting a makeover. But, with that said our experience overall was great. The only downfall was our room, which was one of the older rooms and had an odd smell. downfall was our room, which was one of the older rooms and had an odd smell from the construction. When I reported this, I was advised that it was due to the construction and the whole tower had that issue. Besides that, the hotel was clean the staff was friendly, and the restaurants were amazing. We will definitely come back and hopefully the construction will be complete by that time.
