    Within mere seconds of arriving, they took our suitcases out of the taxi, greeted us by name ("Mr." and "sir"!!), had our room key ready, and luggage on its way to our room. The next day, housekeeping had our room clean and fresh towels before we even got back from breakfast. Excellent breakfast service. All the staff was kind, friendly, knew all the good restaurants in the area, and recommended some good sites to visit while we were in Vancouver. Whenever they saw us coming or going, they went to the front door and held it open for us like we were VIPs!! These folks are professionals! Best service I've ever had at a hotel. Not to mention the good supportive mattress and spacious bathroom.

    Great location, quiet even though it’s right down to the busy road. Easy access to many places. Walking distance to shopping mall. Lots of parking lot available near by

    Although a ramp is provided once inside main entrance, the turn & proximity to the doors made it impossible to exit or enter without help. No door opening push button & doorman not always at door to help. Lift is narrow, not suitable for wheelchair or mobility scooter & a suitcase. Not everyone can be provided with a disability room & standard queen rooms too small for mobility scooter. No idea why but required to use room key card to enter room with ice machine. Also room labelled Ice Machine & Refreshments....only ice machine. Breakfast was APPALLING as were breakfast staff. Firstly advertised as breakfast buffet on Agoda.com it wasn't. The full breakfast advertised on St Regis Hotel website also incorrect. Over 4nights I went to breakfast once as it was so bad. Option: Yogurt & fresh fruit (they mean garnish as half slice pineapple & half strawberry. A pastry OR Full traditional breakfast!!!! Egg - fried, boiled or poached 1 sausage OR 1 slice bacon OR 1 slice ham Plus small amount fried potatoes Half slice pineapple & half strawberry Plus 1 slice toast, white or multi & either Peanut butter, jam or marmalade no butter! Full Traditional Breakfast normally a minimum would consist of Egg + Sausage + Bacon + Hash Brown + Mushroom + Beans + Tomato .+ Toast The toast & marmalade was served on the plate with egg, sausage & potatoes (well there was plenty of room!!) No side plate or side knife for toast provided so either spread toast whilst holding in your hand or have egg & grease on the bottom of your toast. Also toast was only toasted on one side & the sausage had been precooked then cut in half lengthways & reheated. The only hot item was the egg others were luke warm. Saw guests standing waiting to be seated & ignored by staff as they walked back n forth to kitchen area sometimes with empty hands passing tables to be cleared & not once did they acknowledge guest ie simply "be with you in a moment". Dining area on lower lobby floor isn't large enough to accommodate guests & there was a sense of rushing you. Breakfast was included but they still presented with a bill for cad$35 which on same bill was credited so cad$0.00 unnecessary process & only done because they want to ensure a tip is left. I made the hotel aware of a) incorrect & misleading advertising b) poor breakfast. It was obvious they were uninterested. The response I expected was one that involved correcting the advert but that hasn't been the case. I then made Agoda aware & their response was more professional. They contacted the hotel & received the same 'not interested' response. Agoda have provided me with a small credit on my account to use against my next booking. However the advert is was yet unchanged!! Would I stay here again? If I didn't need a mobility scooter & didn't want breakfast then possibly but when you consider the price point & compare to the other options in Vancouver.... no I wouldn't. Example the Embarc at Sheraton Wall Centre on Hornby St was far better
