Check in was wonderful. Room was spacious with a nice size shower and bathtub. Charging ports on each side of the bed. Great location. Only issue was that the mattress was a bit hard.

The best thing about the place was the staff, especially the one in charge, very friendly, welcoming, if I went back to Bregenz I would only stay here. The walls are a little thin, and there are some things I’d change but overall I liked it a lot.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff, clean, modern, comfortable room. I was on the fifth floor ie the top floor and getting in and out of the shower was a bit tricky due to the slope of the roof and that the shower was positioned above the bath tub.

Advantages: + reasonable price for a 1 person room + centrally located + teamaker and minibar in the room Disadvantages: - the A/C unit was rather loud - the shower cabin is small - there was no one at the reception at the arrival time. I had to make a call.

Cozy and very atmospheric place with a kind of "spirit of history", perfectly maintained by very friendly staff. Comfortable, nice and recently renovated rooms. Perfectly located in the very center of the town. Public parking at 20 EUR per day just opposite the hotel. Tasty breakfast.

Fantastic welcome from friend and very helpful receptionist. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Bed especially comfortable provided an excellent night’s sleep. Breakfast however was a little disappointing annd not very good value especially for vegetarians. While there was a good range of bread, the choice of cereal was limited to sweet things aimed at children and a horrible instant porridge. Could have done better on fruit too. Reasonable convenient for the train station and places to eat reasonably close including an excellent pizzeria 2 minutes walk away

Staff were warm, friendly and very knowledgeable. The location is ideal for exploring Bregenz and Bodensee and there is so much to explore. Lots of good options for eating but the Golderner Hirschen is a very good restaurant offering a good menu, good service and excellent value for money. When we left we are already planning our next visit.

I was in room 101, and the music from the club downstairs came through into the room. A lot of noise in the alley outside my window - constant noise of glass (bottles?) being dumped late into the night. Drunk hotel neighbours coming in at 4am, going out on their balcony and making lots of noise. The hotel location is great, and the staff seem very nice - especially in the restaurant. So I hope this was all just a one-off for my visit, and not how things are normally here.

The air-condition had broke down which we where informed about at check in. The hotel offered us to cancel or have a reduction on the price. We decided to stay and we really liked this hotel, nice room good location and friendly staff.

The location is amazing along with the staff. I ended up arriving late, and even though the checkin desk was closed, I easily found the concierge next door to help me checkin. The bathrooms were nice and modern despite the hotel being an old building. The only improvement would be if they improved the floor/carpet. The floors were squeaky and a little uneven.

This is a proper Austrian hotel. The building is purpose built as an hotel so the room we had was spacious with a large comfortable bed, lovely crisp bed linen, fluffy towels and a large well designed bathroom. Check in/out very efficient, concierge couldn’t have been more helpful. Well located and an easy walk from the railway station so good for interrailers. Undoubtedly the best hotel of our trip and we’d happily stay again

Good hotel. Positives: Central but not noisy. Large, recently refurbished room including air-conditioning (was very hot!). Good facilities in room, including espresso machine. Large bathroom. All very clean. Friendly and efficient staff. Negatives: Shower force a bit feeble and leaked onto floor; soap/shampoo dispensers in bathroom fiddly (small bar of soap would be nice, especially as hotel is not cheap!). But these are minor complaints. Breakfast good (but at extra cost/not included in standard room rate).
