Omni William Penn Hotel

We liked the historic, comfortable hotel. The location was great, with many things we wanted to see within walking distance. The staff was professional and courteous. The hotel amenities were terrific.

Food at the restaurants was awesome. The staff was amazing and the bed and view were comfortable and inviting.

The staff here is amazing and went above and beyond. We had a family situation and unexpectedly needed to check into the hotel on Christmas evening. Kyren at the front desk was so kind and upgraded us to a much bigger room since there were 4 of us. We enjoyed the beautiful Christmas decorations and food and drink. Thank you William Penn hotel for making our holiday bright!

The hotel is stunning inside.

The positives of our stay were that the staff were very kind and helpful, and the hotel was surprisingly clean. Even the corners of the rooms and weird little ledges on the furniture were spotless. It was genuinely impressive. And the lobby was beautifully decorated for Christmas. It reminded me of the grand art deco hotel lobbies in NYC. The negatives are that beyond the friendly service and clean spaces, this hotel doesn’t consider guest conveniences. There aren’t a lot of mid range restaurants around this hotel. There are mostly all either crazy pricey chains or sketchy convenience type places. The hotel advertises several on site restaurants and a coffee shop, but the coffee shop closes early afternoon and when we were there, the main restaurant was closed for a private function. We ended up having to order Door Dash because the other on site restaurant was super small and just wasn’t meant to handle the number of guests trying to eat. It was terrible judgment on the part of management to close the main restaurant on a Saturday evening. It’s just horribly inconsiderate of the guests. And to have no good options for a cup of coffee beyond a questionable room Keurig just doesn’t exude good guest experience. There was also a wedding reception on the floor above us, and the music was so loud until 11:00 that our floor was actually vibrating. The staff was great about taking care of us and offered us a room switch, but guests should never be placed below a loud event like that

Beautiful old fashioned hotel with a spectacular foyer. Great English still pub on site and comfortable guest rooms. Staff were friendly throughout.

Beautiful but a bit dirty

Hotel is a beautiful, classic gem in a great area of Pittsburgh, walking distance to a lot of good restaurants. The lobby is always a vibe and the hotel itself has a speakeasy and a few cozy bars. Would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is gorgeous. But the heating system blew out only cold air, and it was 15 degrees outside. There was no indication on the phone as to calling the front desk for service, and no information booklet in the room with any of these details. Two beds, but only one extra blanket. The front desk did refund our Valet fee for the inconvenience, but it was Cold all night!

Clean room, helpful staff…a first class experience.

Everything about the William Penn is magical, especially during the holidays. Tried to eat dinner in the tap room, but it was packed, so ended up having dinner in the terrace room. The room was comfortable absolutely no issues.

The pillows was pretty soft maybe worn out we didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel

Outstanding quality, great

The hotel is gorgeous and very historic. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. The beds were comfy. My one complaint is the card scanner in the elevator is very finicky.

Excellent stay at the Omni William Penn, as always! Iconic Pittsburgh hotel, centrally located in downtown. Festively decorated for Christmas, which adds an extra touch of class.

Clean no real amenities staff great except for a few

The spout on the bathtub was broken and the deposit costs were way too high. However the staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything costs extra though and is way over priced.
