Breakfast was amazing, so much choice of every kind of food. The pool area was lovely. Room spacious and well equipped. We did half board and with the breakfast didn't need to eat lunch and just had dinner every night. We tried both restaurants and the food is exceptional. So so good. We went into town to eat at a really popular authentic Cretan restaurant and the food at the hotel in their Cretan restaurant was better. The only reason to have lunch is their enormous salads which are delicious and they do some potatoes cut into kind of wedges with a cheese sauce which amazing!
Pools with rooms aren't south facing which is a shame because then the sun never hits them - might not be an issue for people who don't like being in the sun!

The breakfast was good.
We traveled around Crete and stayed at several hotels, and unfortunately, this one was the most disappointing. It’s significantly overpriced for what it offers.
The nearby beach is overshadowed by an abandoned property, which really takes away from the atmosphere. On arrival, you're required to check in through an app — something I personally didn’t appreciate after a 16-hour flight, especially when I was hoping to disconnect and relax.
The staff didn’t make the experience any better. I called to request an iron, and it took over 30 minutes. When I followed up to cancel the request, the response I got was a sarcastic-sounding, “Aw okay, enjoy your outing,” — which is the same kind of passive, dismissive tone we experienced multiple times during our stay. Rather than resolving concerns, they smile and give these insincere responses that feel more frustrating than helpful.
They also advertise a complimentary hand massage, but it was fully booked for five days — so if you're not staying that long, you miss out on it entirely.
Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. It simply isn’t worth the price, and you can absolutely find better places for the same (or even lower) cost. The only real advantage is its proximity to the airport.
