Highly original; wonderful setting; great helpful friendly staff. We were offered a complimentary drink on arrival which was a nice, unexpected treat. Great breakfast

It was hot in the bedroom

Our second time at this hotel, it's lovely. Everything is to such a high standard and very well thought out. Great location, lovely staff, amazing decor. Cant recommend enough for a special occasion.

Only small downside is the bathroom doors arnt very private and there isn't a mirror apart from the bathroom mirror which makes getting ready when your partner is in the shower quite difficult. We've stayed before so i knew to bring my own mirror but for the price and the standard of the rest of the room/hotel it is a shame there isn't a full length mirror.

Gorgeous interior and furniture throughout

Breakfast was excellent, as was the dining room, and the manner in which it was laid out. Excellent location on the banks of Afon Teifi with a short walk across the footbridge, immediately adjacent, to the town. Great view frrom the bedroom. Decor was interesting and stylish. Outdoor terrace excellent for socialising next to the tidal river.

The bedroom was small resulting in the double bed being pushed tight against the outside wall which meant that the second guest could not leave the bed without disturbing the other occupant. This was a major irritant and disturbed sleep patterns. In fairness the "quiet room" was compromised by the need to have windows open because of the weather and the noise emanating from the terrace below from revellers past midnight. Area around the wash hand basin could have been better lit.
