Parking was stated on booking.com but there was no parking available At breakfast, the waiter was talking to another customer for 15 minutes and ignoring the fact that I was waiting for my ordered breakfast

Excellent accommodation and food and drink a lovely surprise.

Lovely bedroom in keeping with the building with beautiful beams and fireplace. Exceptionally clean and looks brand new as recently refurbished. Staff very welcoming and breakfast was excellent. Good value for money. Would definitely stay again.

A slightly brighter lighting would help as a little dark but did not put me off ever going back again as fantastic accommodation. Parking wasn’t too far away if private full and only £7 for 24 hours.

Big clean room, great bathroom, towels changed daily. Breakfast was delicious, with a great choice available All staff were very welcoming and friendly

Stated parking at 1 pound a day, not onsite but 150 yds away, but cost 2 pounds for 3 hours, spoke to management said would update the description. Other car parking available locally,from 7.00 pound for 24 hours Lots of steps up to the rooms, not a problem if your active, may be a problem if you have low mobility.

Fabulous hotel, a must stay

Absolutely everything, fantastic stay, great atmosphere, staff excellent, helpful and pleasant, nothing was too much trouble, exceptional accommodation, high standard throughout, wonderful breakfast. Absolutely must stay.

Would certainly consider staying again

Breakfast was not very good, the eggs and sausages were not cooked properly and the slice of toast had been cut into three.

As above and there was quite a bit of dust in the bedroom where the hair dryer was kept

Everything except the parking. Staff are very friendly, food was delicious and room very comfortable.

Parking is an issue, designated parking is not close to the hotel if you have cases. Parking on street nearby is available after 6pm, this was fine but difficult if you arrive earlier

Good value for money

The breakfast was very good, as was customer service. It was pretty quiet even though a pub, so had no problem with noise. Bedding and room was clean. Nice bathroom. Would stay again.

That particular room needs some attention. The curtain was hanging on by a thread. The ceiling had quite a number of cracks and looked like there might be a leak in the roof above it. Looks like it might collapse in at some point.

Up Area for a wedding so dumped bags and off went to venue ,being told No other available room but would be cleaned while we out. came back late looked as only sheets changed .We didn't stay for breakfast after seeing condition of room didnt want to chance it,We got up made complaint to manager/owner? and left asap

We had Room 1. Dust on skirting beer caps side of leaning wardrobe, Large crack along whole length of ceiling,3 1/2 legs on chair,large crack in sink, No cold water running from tap, toilet seat not fitted properly, Carpet small pieces shoved together under side unit, mold in shower tray.d Mens boxers left in top bedside drawer . to top it lots of little bit marks on face arms and legs.to be fair on the bits cant say for 100% as in lovely garden in castle with flowers BUT 95% sure where the are from.

Value for money with an excellent breakfast.

My room was a little old fashioned but the price reflected that. It was clean with all the facilities needed, kettle, tv etc, plenty of tea and coffee in the room too. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was outstanding! The location was excellent too. I'll definitely come back.

At the price and location we would stay again.

Cheap hotel in a nice area, so at the price it was you can't really complain. The room was a good size and had all the facilities we needed. The bed was comfortable and breakfast was good. Cardigan is a lovely little town with lots of independent shops and cafes.

Some areas had been missed in the cleaning. The bedding was a bit damaged with holes in it.
