Large, spacious apartment with spacious rooms. Bathroom has a tub and a hot shower. Very clean. Washing machine, laundry detergent, utensil cleaning liquid, sponges, plates, glasses and clothes pegs in the apartment - very well stocked! A lovely view. Host is fluent in English and Italian was very helpful - ordered us a pizza on a day the restaurant nearby was closed and replied promptly to any messages. Property has a lift. The fernicular (a public lift) is also just outside so visitors have two ways of getting down the steep hill - bus or fernicular.
Location is far away from main Genoa city but there is a direct, frequent bus to Genoa Brignole. Journey takes around 20-25 mins and the bus can get crowded. The location is also very hilly - I would not recommend for people with mobility issues or wheelchair users.

Molto scarsi i servizi , pessimo l'host

L'appartamento è ampio ma poco pulito ed accogliente. Sul letto ci sono materassini da campeggio sottili e 2 cuscini praticamente nulli. Sul letto un trapuntino ( fa 28 gradi e non c'è aria condizionata ) che, per lo meno, aveva una decina di anni. Per dormire abbiamo dovuto sommare quello che era nella camera singola e l'host , invece di scusarsi, si è lamentato della "fatica" che avrà fatto per riportarlo a posto . Il phon ha funzionato 2 minuti dopodiché è morto. Non c'era un po' di sapone in bagno. La vasca con doccia con una tendina che se la chiudi si incolla addosso tanto è piccolo lo spazio.La tv ,minuscola, era solo in cucina. Sono andato via un giorno prima andando in un' altra struttura nonostante avessi già pagato. È quando ho chiesto la fattura per i 210 euro pagati l'host ha detto di non essere tenuto a dare nulla in quanto " locazione turistica" e che non conosco le leggi della Liguria. A parte che le leggi fiscali sono "nazionali" non esiste alcuna norma che esula chicchessia incassi un pagamento per un "servizio" offerto a non rilasciare ricevuta. A meno che non sia una Onlus. Inoltre si è lamentato che , nella fretta , abbiamo lasciato una busta di pattume ( poca carta ) nel cestino dell' immondizia sotto il lavello della cucina. Evidentemente, per quel costo, chi soggiorna deve anche evitare all' host la scocciatura di togliere un sacchetto dal pattume.
Altra particolarità: non è possibile chiudere la porta di entrata con un blocco. C'è un codice che apre e chiunque lo conosca può tranquillamente entrare in casa di notte.
Faccio solo recensioni positive . Credo questa sia l' unica negativa in almeno 40-50 soggiorni. Qualche volta ci sarebbe qualcosa da dire ma evito perché rispetto il lavoro. Ma, in questo caso, l'arroganza dell' host mi ha costretto.
