Perfect stopover for people interested in wine and food

The location was perfect for visiting the wine shops we wanted to see

The chambres location was great! L’Ecrit restaurant turned out to be our absolute favorite in Beaune. Everyone was friendly and helpful, at both the restaurant and room. We would stay here again and recommended to our friends.

Some shelving or alittle more counter space around the bathroom sink to store toiletries, makeup, toothpaste, etc. would be helpful. Other than that, everything was great!

Needs some maintenance Drapery very dusty spider webs on them. Smelled like dust when sleeping Position of shower head moved while using Mattress needs replacing it is sinking . Water leaking from faucets created water around sink

Two flights of steep stairways, but it is expected for an old building in France. Hot water is fickle, takes time to get to the apartment when the restaurant below is closed for the day. On demand water heater is great once activated.

A delightful stay in a bucolic setting.

The room couldn’t better located in the town center. 6 minutes to the basilica and 3 minutes to the hospices. Ideal for the opera festival. The room is spacious and comfortable. The bathroom is large and charming. The restaurant is definitely worth a reservation.

Lovely Weekend in Beaune

Liked location, with free parking nearby. Liked restaurant below room. Liked Saturday market. Liked Hotel Dieu. Liked Chateau de Vougeot. Liked bike trail Voi de Vignes. Liked La Moutarderie Fallot. Very quiet in evenings. Small refridgerator in room was nice for drinks and snacks.

Sometimes difficult to get dinner and bike reservations, visitors should plan early for these. Major traffic delays on A6 northbound, south of Beaune, both Friday and Sunday afternoon. Air conditioner leaked/dripped water into room, wastebasket placed beneath unit to catch drops.

The place is a DUMP. Worst experience ever. Threw away 150 euros. Don’t be fooled by the pictures.

Don’t be fooled by the strategic taken pictures. The place is terrible. Smelly, dirty…old. You’ll regret every euro spent there.

I was fooled by the pictures. When we got there… it ruined our trip. Smells old, place was full of dust… not to mention that is right above a restaurant kitchen. And the access… what a joke. A bad one. Tiny little stairs. Tried to reach for the contact but he totally ignored me and never answered the phone anymore. Didn’t spend a minute there and went directly to another hotel. Just wasted 150 euros. I hope he uses to by medicine. Dishonest people deserve what they do to others.

Location was amazing - so lovely & spotlessly clean - lovely L’Occtaine hand wash & shower gel products - very comfortable bed, nice quality bedlinen & towels.

Toilet roll & tissues were left from previous clients - think one should always leave new box of tissues & toilet rolls.

The pillows could be more like an actual pillow, similar to those found in hotels. an upgrade In WiFi components would also be helpful for guests needing a stronger and more robust connection. The hot water takes a long time to get to the bathroom.

Don't park your car in front of the room under the trees. There were thousands of birds in them at night and I had to buy myself a new Mercedes cause the old one was in pretty condition after one night.

Fantastic location right in the centre of town, easy to walk everywhere. The room itself was very comfortable and exactly what we expected from the photos. The service was 10/10 Charles went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.

Very good

Location was great and convenient and above l’Ecrit Vin, which has very good food. There was free parking within a reasonable walking distance from the rooms. Air conditioning worked well, keeping the room comfortable. The room size was also quite reasonable and the shower was great. The property manager provided a detailed e-brochure about the town and region loaded with recommendations.

The only issue was that the property manager tried to get us to check out but 10:00 am which is unreasonable by any standard. After reminding the property manager/owner that check-out time was set for 11:00 on Bookings, he relented, but suggested that he was to update the time. A nickel’s worth of free advice; don’t do it. Most tourists will view that as a negative.

Great base location in Beaune, I would stay again.

The location was amazing and check in was very easy. Everything in Beaune is walkable and it was a great base location for our trip in Burgundy. Room itself is cute. Wish we could've visited the restaurant, but it was closed when we were there. Property host was very responsible to our requests.

The shower head was broken and took the host a few visits to repair. The wifi was also unreliable and didn't work for the last day we were there.
