Comfortable and well located base for exploring Burgundy

Very convenient hotel for traveling around Burgundy, with easy access in and out of Beaune. The location works particularly well if you’re on a wine-focused trip. Le Bout du Monde, one of the well-known wine bars, is practically just across the street, and another famous spot is also within walking distance. Having parking on site is a real advantage in this area, especially if you’re moving around by car. A supermarket just a couple of minutes away is also very practical for picking up water or snacks for the road. The hotel itself is functional and comfortable. Rooms are quiet and well kept, with everything you need for a pleasant stay. It’s not a designer hotel, but it’s well run and does exactly what you expect from a solid BW Plus. Breakfast is available and convenient in the morning. Nothing over the top, but perfectly fine to start the day before heading out to the vineyards. Overall, a reliable and comfortable choice with a very practical location - ideal as a base for exploring Beaune and the surrounding Burgundy region.

A reasonably priced and comfortable hotel in close walking distance of a beautiful town. Simple car parking, even with a large car.

Bottled beer available at reception but no 'bar'. This would probably only matter to English customers and there is a great late night bar a very short walk to the right of the hotel!

Excellent location, 10 min max. from everywhere, including the train station. Good bedroom. It was a fine stay.

The carpets in the common areas do not smell good at all. Some of the recepcionists don’t speak english, so the communication can be poor.

About the ugliest place to be found in Beaune. The parking lot appears secure, but the bays and the lanes through are so narrow that it is hard to avoid denting other guests' cars The AC in the room worked only by also emitting a foul smell.

Misold a large double bed rather than 2 singles as in standard, but actually was 2 singles pushed together. Smallest toilet ever - barely 1 square metre - difficult to navigate. Cramped bathroom. Noisy and above breakfast facilities for adjoining 3* Sure hotel. Far from 4* hotel. Far from superior room. Room off dirty corridor with stained carpet near stairs and lift.

Excellent free secure parking. Location right in city centre ideal for shopping/ restaurants, bars. We got a room looking over the main street with Juliet balcony. Lovely view.

Excellent location in the centre of Beaune.

On site parking was not possible, so we had to park on the public square just outside the hotel. The double bed felt a bit narrow, we would have preferred a larger one or 2 singles.

The hotel was in the center of town, within easy walking distance of stores, cafes, restaurants and sights. A buffet breakfast and secure parking were available for a fee, The room, though tight, was clean, the lighting was good, and there were plenty of electrical outlets. The bathroom, also tight, had modern fixtures, a very nice shower, and plenty of hot water. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

We have stayed at this hotel before and knew the location to be excellent. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good.

We did not know at the time of booking that extensive renovations were taking place. The quality of the room we were given was very poor (apart from the comfortable bed). It was very dated and threadbare in places. The bathroom was dated and the shower was poor. It was overall poor value for money in terms of the quality of the room. We were disappointed having stayed here before. The renovations are definitely needed in the part of the hotel we stayed in.
