Les Remparts Hôtels et Demeures Historiques

When you think French wine country hotels, this property comes to mind. From entering in to the lobby, they have large wooden doors that eventually lead you to the cutest courtyard nestled. Here, you can enjoy wine or your breakfast. The staff is always around and eager to assist in multiple languages. Parking was easy. Is there a street parking for short term and a parking lot just around the corner. Our room was large and comfortable with a very powerful shower. Multiple TVs and seating areas kept a entertaining the short time we were in our room I felt at home here. It was an easy walk to the train station and centrally located to multiple dining and shopping options.

An iconic spot in an iconic town

This hotel is great. It has preserved the original qualities of the monastery while providing all modern comforts, all through a careful renovation effort with use of original materials and natural textures. It is located in a quiet area; yet five minutes from everything. The best about Les Rampart, however, is the staff, who are knowledgeable about Beaune, providing tips about bistros, restaurants, tours, etc, and go out of the way to make your stay comfortable.

Lovely hotel. Excellently appointed rooms. Lots of character. Very helpful staff. Breakfast waiter was the most helpful and courteous and showed a genuine desire to deliver excellent customer service.
