Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

We absolutely loved our stay with Marie and wish we could’ve spent more time there! The property was beautiful and peaceful. The breakfast was delicious and the host was very sweet to get to know as well as helpful. Additionally her massage is awesome!

Friendly and helpful

Loved our stay at Marie's BnB! She is so personable and helpful! She rented one of her bikes to me for 20€/day. She also let me drop my bags at the property before check in time and pick them after check out. Great help! We enjoyed the breakfast of fresh coffee, croissants, bread, jams, granola, homemade yogurt. We payed 12€pp for the breakfast as we didn't book directly. The is no air conditioning but I have to say that even though we were there during a heat wave (95-100f each day) the apartment didn't get too hot and the fans kept us cool enough at night. Tips for travelers: Book directly with Marie, if you go through Booking.com you don't get breakfast included. Rate is better if you go directly. Also if you need wash and fold there is a dry cleaners (pressing) in town that can do that for 20€ per "bag" with a next day turn around time.

Didn't feel very private. Windows faced the shared property courtyard with Marie and other guests, and needed to be open for a breeze. I would have preferred air conditioning over the breeze. But this was only a minor preference consideration.

A pleasant stay made even more pleasant by Marie at Chez Marie!

We were in Beaune for a week and were delighted by the chance to stay in a quite street in a traditional home, which can accommodate in separate facilities 2 doubles, each with a private modern bathroom, and one larger apartment with kitchen facilities which could accommodate a family. The is an open courtyard inside the building which provides a handsome place with tables and chairs where the breakfasts can doubtless be served, although we were there n March so the breakfasts were served in the owners dining area above the courtyard. Madame spears English well and does not hesitate to accommodate the guests. She walked with us to the huge Cité de Vin outside town because we were interested in it and she feared we might not be able to find it. On another day, she drove us in her personal car (our planned auto rental failed to materialize) up in the hills and found the two wineries that we wished to visit. The breakfasts were very good and provided an exceptional opportunity to plan our day. We were there for a week and were absolutely delighted with our stay.

The property is old charm and close to the main centre. the room was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Marie was very accommodating. she ensured the room was warm and was available if needed. it was a friendly place and it’s a pity the weather wasn’t warmer to enjoy the courtyard area.

Such a lovely place to stay in Beaune. Marie was very helpful and generous with her knowledge. We were there beginning of Oct 2022 for 3 nights. Easy to find and walk to from train station. Our room was very nice.

I truly enjoyed my stay at Chez Marie, everything in the room is comfy and very clean, the location is very near the city center where I walked easily, plenty of parking around it. Marie is a very nice and helpful owner whom live upstair and is always willing to make recommendations. I will be back!

Excellent value for location. Some details could be better but offset by price.

The location is super great. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful. The space is large and private (we got the 2 bedroom). The courtyard is a nice place to hang and meet fellow travelers. There is a sweet kitty on site that is naughty and adorable.

Wifi was really weak. It was chilly and central heat wasn’t working although I think they are working on that aspect. Towels that were provided were threadbare… seemed more suitable for washing the car than for providing to guests. And there were only 2 bath towels. No washcloths no hand towels.

Excellent breakfast. Marie is very nice and enjoyed chatting. The room was large and comfortable, as was the bed; the bathroom was good. Great to have some infusions to make in the room. Very central location just outside the city wall but on a quiet street.

Wifi a bit patchy in the room. Not so easy to park, though Place Madeleine is free if you can find a space there. The street itself is too narrow to park in.
