We had a very enjoyable week in Wherry Cottage.

Quality furnishings, decorative objects and artwork. Very good kitchen equipment. Cosy. Beautiful views over the river. Lovely welcome food pack.

The traffic noise on the busy road was quite loud at times but we got used to it. The cottage is right on the road so pedestrians staring in the windows as they walked past on the pavement was a bit intrusive but we can understand that blinds or shutters would have limited the lovely view!

Cosy, romantic dream cottage for a relaxing getaway

This Cottage is an absolute joy to stay at. Really cosy and comfortable, tastefully furnished and equipped with everything you need to modern standard. Well central heated, but also a wood fireplace. Double glased windows make it very quiet, so you don’t really notice that is located directly on the high street. All shops, pubs, restaurants and supermarkets are within a few minutes walking distance. A really wonderful getaway from a busy city life, which is exaclty what I was looking for. Communication with the owner was brilliant and he even supplied some essential basic groceries for my Sunday arrival. All kitchen and bathroom essentials are there for a stress free arrival and stay. Highly recommendable accommodation.

A buddle of delight

Know that it's the smallest village in Britain it has everything you need for a romantic time away, a good choice of restaurants to wonderful walks, Werry Cottage was so delightful and we very pleased with our welcome hamper it was like staying in a romantic novel, caretaker seen to every need to make that extra special just a phone call away.
