Lovely small cottage in a lovely location

It was a lovely place in a good location. The facilities were good, everything was spotless and it was warm and cosy.

The stairs were quite steep and narrow. It was also quite noisy - it is right on the road and the front window is at pavement level. Traffic going on the road splashed the window.

Absolutely wonderful Dinky Cottage

We were going to a friend's 60th Birthday party and oppted for Dinky Cottage, it's was a beautiful place , absolutely perfection and almost tardis like , small from the outside but so much more on the inside with a wonderful comfortable bed and really felt like home for our mini break The hosts were a lovely couple so friendly and welcoming ( thank you guys for your warm and friendly welcome to brightlingsea) I would recommend this lovely cottage in a heartbeat and will be sure to return for sure 10/10 from us Loved it ❤️

Lack of any instructions about how anything worked! The weather was very hot, so the road noise was intrusive at times with the windows open.

Perfect weekend stay cottage.

The place is clean, well presented, has all you need and is in a great location just off the small town centre. All the shops you would need are a five minutes walk as are decent takeaways.

Lovely little cottage, modern yet classic feel. Loved the little pictures and ornaments. Very clean and tidy. Powerful shower. Really pretty cottage.

Just personal but the bed was too uncomfortable for me, sunk too far in, therefore waking up every time i moved in the bed.

The bed / bedding! Probably is being fussy but v hot (unusual for UK) cos of memory foam and v thick duvet. No-one’s fault but just mentioning. It wouldn’t ever stop us staying!

Drip from gutter/pipe above key box, inline with my head whilst accessing box for key.

Top Class well positioned Cottage with all the amenities,would stay again

Spacious very clean, location, great facilities TV fridge washing machine fridge freezer,toaster kettle, internet TV, Two toilets a bonus, modern well controlled gas boiler. Quiet area, Great fish restaurant the Rosebud 6 minutes walk. Harbour area 10 minutes. Great local bus service. Parking nearby To top off great owner who popped in to make sure all was ok.

Key safe. Very small and low down on the wall. The. Bedroom was a little crowded with the large unit at the bottom of the bed,wife hit her feet twice whilst walking through. There is plenty of storage and it's a great bedroom,unit not required for short stays Simple crib sheet for boiler operation timings etc, it turned very cold last weekend .

Very nice well presented and very clean would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here as needed a quick overnight stay in the local area, the property was well presented and very clean. Thought the pint of milk in the fridge was a very nice touch as able to make a drink on arrival. Plenty of parking available nearby, I would definitely want to stay here again.
