Caravan Hire Mersea Island - EOEPS

The van was easy to find on the site. It had it's own car parking space. Blinds and black out curtains in the bedroom. Everything we needed in the kitchen. The shower was powerful and plenty of hot water.

Being older we could have done with a non slip mat or non slip floor stickers in the shower cubicle.

The caravan was lovely. Spacious, comfortable and clean, a home from home, with everything that you may need for your stay. Outside there are two secure decking areas on a veranda with seating to enjoy the sun (when it’s out) and inside the lounge is really lovely even with extra throws to snuggle up in when the weather isn’t great or for watching a film in the evening. The TV package is good with all channels available, there are board games for the kids. The placement of the van is ideal and very quiet, and I felt safe, the site feels quite big but everything is actually within a couple of minutes stroll. There is a clubhouse for entertainment and restaurant which also provides an order and delivery service, there are two swimming pool areas and a small amusement arcade, even I spent a pound on the 2p machine 😁 There is an accessible beach area which is great to walk the dog (if you have one - unfortunately Oli doesn’t supply dogs, with the booking but what a great idea that would be😂) Overall the van is lovely and I would definitely recommend booking. Just for information I stayed for a couple of nights in May with my elderly Dad, and it was ideal.

There’s nothing that I didn’t like about the property, everything was great. If I had to be picky there was no tea-towel to dry up (but you can get one at the onsite shop) Also you really need a car to venture out of site if you wanted to explore or maybe get a bigger food shop!

Absolutely lovely, clean with so many extras. Feel they have gone above and beyond to make our stay the best we can have. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was a lovely power shower

Oli was a great host and the caravan was as described. We had a small issue on our side which Oli was very gracious and understanding with so I would fully recommend him as a host, and the caravan itself was perfect and fully as described.
