Great short stay in a lovely caravan - the host has a great attention to detail - even leaving little welcome gifts for us - Good location on site and for local area. Definitely planning on going back very soon

People who do not keep to the 10 mph speed limit on site!

Friendly host. Had all amenities needed, oven, microwave, fridge, hob, table and chairs, saupans etc. Tv, sofas etc Cosy place. Car space outside. Near to the beach. Some board games to keep the kids occupied. Great price Outside table and chairs waa lovely on a warm day having lunch. Lovely to sit in the restaurant outside and look towards the sea with a drink or ice cream Great playground for the children. It was nice and quiet and I did switch off from life's worries. Good food at the restaurant.

The Internet was intermittent. Data rarely worked. But if you're there for the beach then it's fine. Tv signal and phone signal was in and out but it's the area rather than accommodation. We paid for passes, kids free. So 18 for 2 adults but on Mondays the pool is closed and they only let you in the pool for 45 mins at a time, so literally had to get out and occupy a toddler for 15 mins and then go back in. It says heated pool but it was luke warm. Our boy still absolutely loved the pool. The outdoor pool was closed as they said it was being cleaned but it wasn't at the time. The beach was good, sand with stones and pebbles. The food at the restaurant was very good and the staff friendly. The kids club for the build a bear (squishes) was not included in the pass but our 2 year old found it fun still. Overall a good trip. First time in a static caravan and it was good.

Lovely clean caravan. Very well presented. Lots of little touches which made the difference. Very good value for money. Nice site.

Probably the best caravan we have stayed in! Clean, comfortable and well stocked! Is rare to have a kitchen with everything you need to actually cook a meal. The added extras were such a lovely touch and well appreciated.

Everything is there for you

Very cute Easter decorations and treats for the kids, well equipped and homely caravan, host v nice. The pool was warm and great for little ones. A shingle beach is right next to the clubhouse. Bigger than average shop on site. Great location for Mersea Barns and Cudmore Grove.

The play park was closed during our visit. Cutlery, pans etc could have been a bit cleaner. Beds soft.

The caravan door was difficult to open from the outside and the inside.Wi-Fi non existant,no phone signal which is totally normal for Mersey.

Lovely caravan. Very tidy and Jacqui ( Owner) always lays the dining table for guests . Caravan Warm for colder months once heating warms up . Jacqui adds many little personal touches and cleaning supplies and various little essentials are to hand that many other caravan owners do not provide... Nice little welcome touch on my trip. Shower excellent. Wi-Fi not the best. Would thoroughly recommend this caravan and stay especially for long weekends. Shame about No Pets but this adds to The overall cleanliness of the caravan. The shop on the Coopers Beach site ( In season) is poor for choice and very expensive in my view so go the 2 miles into West Mersea ( CO-Op - Tesco Express) for most bits of bring your own supermarket groceries if you can... Their are some little farm shops just before you turn into the lane leading to camp site. West Mersea is lovely in the summer, especially along the seafront with nice little alfresco restaurants and lovely seafood platters. East Mersea Cudmore Grove Country park is a lovely ,clean, large area for family picnics and outdoor games. Great for dog walking and bird hut/watching, with beach and wildlife walks combination. P!entry of parking space with Toilets and little Cafe in Season... Dog and Pheasant pub near to country park has a lovely garden area and food. Their is also a Boating/ sailing lake just before Coopers Beach caravan site and an area for sea going boating activities at the Mersea Stone ( East Mersea). The whole island is flat and great for cycling although some of the country roads are narrow. Mersea Island still retains its old fashioned, seaside feel, is more beach in West Mersea, with East Mersea providing more country walks with a little beach stretch combination. NOTE: Be aware and check on the internet the tide times as,you will not be able to get on or off the Island at High (Spring) Tides as the Strood roadway connecting access to and from the Island floods during high tides.

Poor campsite Shop.. Wi-Fi on the site not great.. I have never tried the campsite entertainment so cannot comment although the swimming pools look nice.

Lovely caravan and a lovely host who keeps it well and takes pride. I did have problems on my stay with the Wi-Fi and TV reception with only the BBC channels being regular in signal. However Jacqueline really takes pride in her caravan and it's facilities and apart from the issues above that perhaps may need looking into at some point I thoroughly recommend this caravan and stay for other guests and families.
