Host was lovely. The accommodation was spotless and we loved all the tea/coffee/snacks provided. The amenities were 5 star!

I loved how fresh it smelled when we walked in. The attention to detail was fab. Everything we needed and more was provided. A welcome box, tissues, toothbrushes and paste, fairy liquid, sponges and tea towels to wash, towels, floor matt.
for the price we paid, it was excellent. Perfect for a nights stay over. No frills just creature comforts.
By the way, I love Milky Ways and there were two double bars there for me to enjoy, not to mention, Yorkshire Gold teabags.
We will definitely come again.
Many Thanks

Location great, cabin out in the country and peaceful.
Bathroom cramped, heating and fridge too noisy. But I'm sensitive to these things, they might not bother other people

Very clean and perfect location for the wedding we attended. Instructions to find the property were spot on and great being able to have parking right outside.
Welcome back was much appreciated and would definitely choose staying here again over the centre of bath
Lack of low lighting for night time but not a massive issue

A little dated, but ok

It was such good value and in an ideal position to attend a wedding reception nearby in Swineford. It is also 15 minutes from Bath. It was cute but perfectly formed with stunning outside space. Fab shower and little kitchen. Everything you need is in there.
Nothing really

Location was fine; cosy self contained accommodation.
More space around bed would have been helpful so that one could get into and out of the bed on both sides! Not easy when you are in your eighties!

A very cosy stay for couples! Loved the little extras including toothbrushes, chocolates and toiletries.
Felt very private which was really lovely and had a fridge, microwave, stove and kettle! Only a 10 min drive to local pubs and restaurants. Was able to see the host upon checkout who was really lovely and checked in to see how everything was! Would recommend:)
It was smaller than expected but this was not a problem! Fridge was quite loud during the night and I am a light sleeper otherwise no concerns at all

Bench in the field to see the sun set.
Welcome tray seemed good - biscuits, Maltesers, assorted teas - but no simple coffee
Well thought out toiletries including disposable tooth brushes - bit basin too small to use
OK: skylight was too high to reach, but open on arrival, The skylight blind was ill fitted - so early morning light an issue.
The cutlery was curious - two of everything but only 1 fork.
'Coffee' was a 2-in-1 : a mix of coffee and powdered milk. I don't take milk.
Dirty window blind in bathroom
Basin in the bathroom had no and was only sufficient for hand washing - so the kitchen sink had to be used for shaving and other personal washing; I really don't like that!
Size of the shower room meant knees against the shower door when using the toilet

Location, privacy and facilities.
The front of the door had lots of leaves, that could have been cleaned. Ventilation wasn't so good.

Everything about my stay was amazing! Easy check in process; amazingly well kept accommodation; close to Bath; and all while be set in the beautiful countryside!

The tea coffee, chocolate and biscuits were a nice touch.. Great location, I was travelling for work in Bath so ideal.
Instructions how to find the property weren't clear, but to be fair I didn't reply to a message so may have got.more details if I had.

Had everything you needed, was clean and comfortable and absolutely loved that there was chocolate and biscuits with the tea and coffee.
Only one comment that there was no outside light.

Have stayed in shepherds hut before, both set on beautiful grounds, lovely location, nice kitchenette with all that you need, clean bathroom. Easy self check in, private driveway and parking, nice treats and tea.
The bed seems to be a pulled out sofa bed with a sloppy mattress. Same as the shepherds hut, the lighting isn't well thought through with one abrasive led torch light rather than soft bedside lamp or fairy lights or anything resembling cosiness. Throughout the night there is a persistent flashing light in the room, same in the shepherds hut. I don't understand where from or why but it is extremely irritating and feels like a camera flash every 20 mins or so, found near impossible to sleep. Don't know what was going on last night perhaps guests next door but there was a car coming in and out between 2 and 4 with slamming doors and engines running, probably not hosts fault and just other guests but basically I didn't sleep well!

It’s in a perfect location, rural yet close to Bath. We’ve stayed here a number of times in the Hut and the the nest it’s always perfect!
All good we love it here!

The property was in a fantastic location, beautiful views in the countryside but also within a very short drive of several pubs.
The host made it very easy to find and responded to messages really quickly. They just also provided a brilliant array of tea, coffee and some snacks which were perfect after a long drive.
The mattress was slightly uncomfortable but still slept reasonably well.

Secluded peaceful location.
Hot water tap in bathroom sink was a bit stiff, so the water
coming was usually extremely hot, so one had to be careful to not get scalded.

The host is incredibly friendly with greta communication, the little nest was most accommodating for me and my girlfriends weekend break with all our needs catered for. Highly recommended

All we needed for an overnight stay. Really cosy and plenty warm enough even though it was cold weather overnight. Good sized shower.

Very small space no room for a suitcase to be opened & bed was right against the wall

The little welcome pack was appreciated and the shower was a good size, the whole place was perfect for what we needed
The bed was a bit "roll together" but manageable for the 2 nights we were there

Stunning location, well appointed - great communication with owner.

It was quite rural so quiet
a little ‘cramped feeling’ due to the black fence you stare at and front facing, small and overlocked courtyard. It felt like it lacked a good flow or ‘feng Shui’ with the bed feeling like it should face the window not be behind?

What we noticed immediately as we enter was the wonderful smell. The bedding and towels smelled divine - We forgot to ask what washing powder they used as we want that smell on our sheets and towels. The cabin was spotless - cleaned to a high standard. The shower was fabulous - powerful and plenty of hot water. The kitchen facilities were perfect - just what we needed for a few days. The hosts couldn't do more - what we liked the most is they left us to our own devices but if we needed anything they were there to help - 24 hours. The setting is idyllic with plenty of public footpaths and walks to take. We got a few fabulous sunsets and sightings of several deer. This is the perfect getaway place - for a few days or longer. We will continue to return again and again. This beautiful tucked away paradise is highly recommended. It gets 11 out of 10 stars from us.... Do visit - you wont be disappointed.
Having to leave!

The accommodation was exceptionally clean, the hosts were extremely welcoming - they were there when we needed them but they galso gave us privacy. The location was beautiful and quiet. We stayed for one night then extended to 3 nights and swapped to the Shepherds Hut for a fourth night. We have been back again and we will return very soon. Its a great place and would highly recommend it to anyone. 10 out of 10 for this.litrle idylic spot.

The property was lovely. A little cosy cottage which was immaculate. The surroundings were spotless and in a quiet area in the middle of the countryside. Was a bit difficult to find through the lanes but then found the small sign outside. Got everything you need in the room as well as some lovely extra bits like chocolate and biscuits. WiFi I’m the room too. When we stay in Bath again this will definitely be the place we return to. It was just perfect!
