We enjoyed our stay in the property. The cottage is in a quiet street in an excellent location, within walking distance of the city centre, Exeter St Davids station and the quayside, and next to the river (there is a lovely riverside pub). It had all the facilities we needed and the outside seating area was very welcome in the heatwave! Check in was straightforward.
The upstairs bathroom is very small. This was not a problem for us and the shower is good, but it was difficult to stop water from splashing onto the floor. Some of the windows and the patio door are very stiff to open. It would have been nice to have a few more plates, glasses and some additional cutlery.

It would have been nice to have been told before hand that there was a £30 waiver fee for any damage made or a refundable £250.
Also could do with a non slip mat in the bath for when showering. The shower screen has no rubber slip under it so there was so leakage when showering, but it was wiped up straight away though, no issues really.

Surprising amount crammed into a very compact space. Ideal for 3 people or 2 couples just for a couple of nights but would be tight for any more! Good pub food next door
Outside area could have done with a clean and spruce up. No terrestrial Tv channels available
Would have been useful to know in advance that parking is a 15 min walk away
