The property was always clean, tidy, had all the appliances, location was good with private beach nearby with crystal clear water, private spacious parking . What we liked the most about the property was the staff, they were available all day and very nice, helpful and welcoming.

Lovely apartment near Afitos.
We didn't want to stay in Thessaloniki before flying, so chose Kahlenberg. 40mins from airport, but also still close to some beaches. Peaceful location amongst olive trees, with lovely views from the balcony.
Apartment was clean, light and bright!
Katrin was sweet and helpful. Although she didn't speak English (she does speak French) we managed to understand each other!

Beautiful place with a great atmosphere to relax!
The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed walking around the beautiful olive garden. Our hosts Yanis and Georgia were very warm and offered great recommendations.
Kahlenberg apartments is close by car to all the nice beaches including Kalithea and Afytos, nice restaurants and cafe/bars. There are shops with all you need. Afytos has a romantic night atmosphere and you can enjoy moonlit walks around the old city restaurants. The apartment was cleaned every day.
A coffee machine would be great to have for the kitchen.

The location of the apartment is very quiet and calming, in an olive grove with the view of the sea. The host was quite serviceable wanting to make sure we have everything we need. The apartment was very clean.

Wonderful beaches within 5 minute drive.
The view is magnificent, and the apartment is very clean and comfortable, with free car parking.

Poor kitchen tools, very small bathroom, no proper shower cabin - after taking a shower the bathroom was a complete mess; first day there was a problem and we had no water at all for about 4-5 hours in the morning

Suggestion: It would be good to mount a pergola or a large umbrella on one of the terraces on the top floor, the morning is quite hot and that makes you choose a room for breakfast, and you can't enjoy the wonderful panorama. But it was phenomenal to sit on the terrace in the sun. It's only morning anyway.

Everything was perfect and the owners very kind. The space was big and the view amazing. You could see olives trees and the beach as in pictures.

Superb
The house is located just off the main road, between amazing sunflower fields. The garden is lovely, and it’s breezy all the time. The hostess was a very nice lady that would each day ask us if we found everything good.
Maybe the wi-fi and for us it was a bit of a hassle to have to get in the car to drive to a beach with umbrellas and sun beds. But most definitely - it was an amazing place and we would go again.

Very serene location, just a 5 minute walk to one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve been to. The staff was also very hospitable and made us coffees upon arrival, they even lent us an umbrella for the beach. We would definitely stay here again! :)

Amazing place in the middle of an olive garden
The location is perfect, not to mention the view. We stayed in apartments on the upper floor and the ground floor - both , clean, comfortable and cozy. On the upper floor we had a breathtaking seaview and down stairs our balcony was in the middle of an olive garden. Silence and tranquility, perfect for people who come here to relax and take a break from the stress of every day life. Our host - Katherine, who doesn't speak English, understood anyway our requests and needs. She was always smiling and we found her adorable. Near the Kahlenberg apartments you can find a lot of hidden wild beaches, real gems with clean waters and almost no people.
We had a great time and will certainly return.
There was no option to have any breakfast and we missed some blankets in the room - in September the nights are getting a little colder.

Very good
There was no breakfast provided by the hotel, but it was no problem having breakfast in Afithos, which is 3 minutes away by car. The hotel is located in an excellent position (quiet area, surrounded by olive trees, overlooking the sea and Sithonia), most of the time I stayed in my room I spent on the terase enjoying the beautiful view. Mrs. Caterina was very helpful, always ready to provide assistance. I received from the host an excellent recommendation for a wine tasting evening not far from the property, and i enjoyed every moment of it. A nice experience which i may repeat in the future!

It was quiet, in the middle of a small olive grove. No problem with parking, plenty of places. During our stay of 8 night, we used AC only one night, it was a pleasant temperature. The host give us a coffee pot after we asked specifically for it and he also offered us Greek coffee for the mornings, but we preferred our coffee style .
Please improve the cleaning service in the rooms ( seeing hair strings on the floor doesn't give us a pleasant feeling ). Also the bathroom utilities was very old, barely hold together... Also the shower had curtain, please try to upgrade to a cabin, it is modern and more useful.

Not worth it
Besides the view, nothing else looks like the pictures. I was not expecting luxury, as the price was affordable (not cheap), but I always expect cleanliness!
First impression upon entering the rom was that someone just got up from the beds, the sheets were in disarray, as you can see from the picture that I have attached. Second was the old furniture smell, that persisted all the time. Moving on to the bathroom that looked like it hasn’t seen a brush or cleaning sponge for a while – again, refer to the pictures. Hard water stains in the shower, dirty shower curtain, dirty sink and don’t start me on the toilet. We couldn't use the closet, I will let the pictures tell you why. The general impression was that of a dorm room, poorly remodeled and cleaned only at the surface. On our first night we had to share one of the beds with ants, they made a mini ant highway on the bed to travel from one corner to the other.
All the pictures were taken on the first day!
We saw how the room was cleaned during our stay: one change of sheets/ towels (that were grey) and one time some toilet cleaning solution was poured in the toilet and left as it is. No scrubbing of the shower or sink or of the floor. At least the garbage cans were emptied daily. Communication with the cleaning lady was almost impossible, as she did not speak or understood English.
The accommodation is not located in the village, it is actually 1.9 km away from Afitos. So without a car you are screwed, as there is no sidewalk. There is a fridge in the room (empty, no complimentary water) and one extension cord that had one outlet available – we had to request an extra. So you have to drive 2 km to the village to buy water and snacks as there is nothing near the accommodation (if you do not count the olive trees).
I will not be returning here and for sure I do not recommend it to anyone. If I wanted to pay to clean the bathroom and the room, as I did here, I would have stayed at home.

Good hospitality
We really liked the host Catherine. She was very welcoming, helpful and offering us umbrella and Greek coffee and answered all of our questions. Location is perfect to Afitos where are nice restaurants (especially the one fish one om the beach). Totally recommend.
Bathroom was very small, a shower had curtains which was unpleasant experience. Would be great to improve this part.
