Nice place to stay with bigger group with access to private beach area and 25 minute walk to Afytos

The location to the private beach with crystal clear waters was excellent. It is common in this area to have quite a steep descent with lots of stairs to the sea. From the house to the sea was about a 10 minute steep walk but the private beach area was worth it. The walk to Afytos was about 25 minutes on foot and about 3 minutes away by car. You can park in a huge free parking area on the outskirts of Afytos and then walk into town for a stroll or something to eat. There are some beautiful restaurants with wonderful views to the sea. Mr. Toni met us with the keys and also arrived early on the day to check out to collect the keys. The view from the balcony which is accessed from the 2nd floor rooms is beautiful. The pool was an added bonus for the kids

One of the bedrooms is accessed through a separate door from the back of the house. This could be a plus for 1 couple or single person for more privacy.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay and we would like to visit the place again, because it pet friendly, it has a beach view

The sea view, the garden and private beach for the guests of the houses. The house was comfortable and clean and all the rooms had a beautiful view.

There were some bugs coming from the windows or somewhere else and the back private room got in water because of the rain, so we did not know how to fix it and if we had to sleep in it, it would have been a problem, because everything was wet. Also some of our family members had problem with going to the beach because of the stairs. But, this does not regard all of us, so we were aware of the steep stairs. :))

Bad

There was NO swimming pool! The owner NEVER informed us that the so called "swimming pool" has not been operating for at least a year now! All of the people booking this property this year had no access to the fully ABANDONED pool. We paid for a swimming pool and there wasn't one! The behaviour of the owner was so disrespectful that they gave us ONLY a 10% refund while they were not answering our calls. It is not recommended for anyone, because you can find so many better options for even lower rates! JUST BAD!

Good villa, poor host!

The villa was spacious and only a five minute walk to the beach (via a steep hill).

The host was non-existent. We were welcomed by the maintenance man who could not speak English and we therefore received no guidance/instructions. The villa was described as having a private pool which was not the case, but we did receive a part refund for their error. Also, no curtains/shutters in the main bedroom - we used the sofa bed's blankets instead!
