The apartment was very clean, cosy and well equipped. The pool was lovely and the garden was perfect. Nice place to come back to after walking in the area. Stella and Stuart were friendly and hospitable - would recommend if you’re visiting Colchester as in the suburbs with pleasant parks for the dog, one at the end of the road and great transport links to get to Wivenhoe, Mearsea island, Walton on the Naze and Constable country.

Pool and area for the dog
Only thing maybe could be upgraded was the bed/mattress, and maybe add a fan for hot evenings. Other than that everything else was perfect

This property is in a great location with easy parking. The availability of an EV charger was also a bonus. The property is well thought out with good facilities and cleanliness. The hosts were excellent and the pool was amazing.

Bright and pleasant interior. Easy check in/out. Friendly helpful owners, who showed up with a needle and thread when I needed to repair my trousers, and even helped me with trying to rescue a bee from the pool. The garden veiw is very pleasant.
The garden is not actually private. Every evening a dog appeared, barked at me, and used the garden to do dog things. If you like dogs, or have dogs, it's an ideal place to stay. If like me you intensely dislike pretty much everything about dogs, this is not the place for you. The garden facilities could do with cleaning. There were three unexpected items in cupboards, draws, and on the floor, presumably left by other visitors. One of them absolutely should not have been there.
