Extremely keen, spacious flat with lots going for it

The property was extremely clean and tidy. We loved the surprise drawer of toys in the kitchen! Great selection of things to watch on the TV, great parking spot and the pillows are very comfortable

The difference in temperatures in each room was crazy! The room with the two single beds was freezing cold and the main bedroom ended up becoming burning hot in the night even though we didn’t touch the radiator in the main bedroom.We were also really disappointed that the travel cot wasn’t put up for us as they said it would. Thank goodness we brought our spare one just in case. The bed in the main bedroom was not very comfortable at all, but perhaps that’s just our taste!

A comfortable, well-located flat that felt like a true home from home.

The flat was perfect for our weekend stay, with plenty of amenities nearby and just a short drive to Colchester Zoo, which was the purpose of our visit. It was lovely and quiet, and we really appreciated the interesting décor,it made such a nice change from the usual plain white interiors. The colourful duvets and homely touches made the flat feel like a real home from home.

Would choose alternative place in future.

Having two bathrooms. Being on ground floor. Having a designated parking space.

No Wardrobes or drawers. Hob broken - sharp crack in ceramic hob, not advised before arrival so had to contact host to make the point we had not broken it. No towels, tea towels left out - found clean ones in a bin bag in cupboard. Thick dust on all blinds. Single beds very uncomfortable - just a piece of foam for the mattress. Insufficient plates and bowls - had to use children's plastic bowls. Many light bulbs not working and undercupboard lights flashing on and off randomly.

The single beds could really do with a couple of decent mattresses , the mattress toppers are ......interesting? Not sure if the broken double socket in what would be a children's room is safe. The extractor fans in both bathrooms aren't working. 3 1/2 miles from town centre........close?

Cozy home..

It was one of the best places I have rented so far. The place was so cosy, calm and beautiful ❤️. It had all the essentials which were needed. It was so good that me and my friends spent the night with laughter and joy.❤️❤️

A really good option.

About 10 minutes drive from the centre of Colchester.This apartment has one suite shower room and one bathroom for guests to share . A fully usable kitchen.Lots of bits and pieces were provided including towels soaps washing up liquid and toilet paper. The rooms were a good size it was on the ground floor close to the main entrance.The apartment was easy to access .The area was quiet.It was a really good size for a group of friends or small family.One double with on suite and a twin room . It was clean and tidy.I slept OK. There wasn't much external noise. It was a nice clean and easy comfortable shower. I would stay again if I required accommodation for more than one person in the area.

The beds were ok but not the most comfortable.ive slept in. Nothing else comes to mind.

Not enough cups/glasses, towels not washed properly or not exchanged after previous customer. Unfortunately, bed in one room is good only for 1 person or for a kids, would be amazing to have normal sized bed in both rooms.

Only good thing was location but car parking space could be better defined. Not luxury anything.

Lock box location in large unlit shed with black rubbish bags dumped all over ground. Heating on cheap night rate so boiling hot from midnight until 7pm then freezing all evening. Was electric heater which made it very dry and uncomfortable and only heated main room. Heaters in bathrooms but bedrooms cold. Crockery and pans need replacing and more of them. Tv dependant on wi fi so very unreliable. Not disabled friendly as no handrails etc in bathrooms. No electric blankets as advertised. No wardrobe in 2nd bedroom.

It was warm, clean, and comfortable. It gave us a wonderful couple of days. The location was great, and it was easy to get anywhere.

The shower had no handrail for disabled use. There is no electric plug near a mirror for the hair dryer.

The apartment was beautiful, clean, tidy & a great central location. There were three of us staying there & there was plenty of room. We all really loved it & would highly recommend.

The host is very attentive and assists immediately with any queries without losing patience.

The apartment was as advertised which is a breath of fresh air. It also had guest toiletries for both grown ups and babies which we found to be a thoughtful touch.

No issues perhaps a recommendation to add a small dining table and chairs.

Great Value for an amazing stay

The apartment was just perfect. The rooms were very spacious with a king-size bed in the room where I slept with an en-suite shower. The other room was also spacious with two single beds. I love the way the apartment was designed with art and pictures on the walls . The location was perfect for me as I was working in the town centre, which is only 5 minutes away. The allocated parking space was right next to the entrance, and the apartment complex was private and quiet. The host was very friendly. Amazing apartment for great value. I will be staying again next month!!

Helaas wist de eigenaar niet dat we kwamen, wat voor een wat onduidelijke aankomt met wachten voor het huis zorgde. Uiteindelijk gelukkig goedgekomen. Check in via ley lock box.
