LE SALEYA is a beautiful air-conditioned apartment with one bedroom. It has an exceptional location in the Old Nice, a few steps from the sea and the Cours Saleya where the flower, vegetable, accessories, book markets are held...



The decoration is modern. You will be seduced by the white brick wall that lines the living room wall and adds character to the apartment.

Fully equipped, you can only appreciate its layout, which makes the space friendly and good to live in.



The apartment is on the 2nd floor without elevator.



Heating/Cooling: Heating is collective and managed by the building. Start-up is scheduled for mid-November to mid-December. Shutdown is scheduled for mid-April. Start-up and shut-down dates depend on the local climate and the building manager.

While location and description were great, a big purpose of a place to stay is to sleep there. The main bed i am almost positive was the same kind of futon they have folded up as "couches" in the living room. Additionally the pillows were so flat that we went and boght more pillows that we could sleep on. Second, we only were given a scratchy blanket and a fuzzy throw to sleep under. Lastly, this stay is up many stairs so be ready to carry your bags up. Some good things: the taxi service was great both ways. There was every necessary tool in the kitchen to make food if you wanted to. The location is right by the market and then just a few steps more to the beach which made it really easy to relax and find great places to eat and shop without spending any money on taxis.Overall a good stay, just wish it offered a little more comfort in the bedroom and living room.

The location was ideal for our needs. Being able to wake up and get fresh croissants was fabulous. The bed was comfortable. The windows blocked a lot of the noise from the market. The air conditioning worked well as did the washer. Upon entering the apartment, there was an unpleasant smell that we couldn’t get rid of unless the windows were open. The plates and coffee cups were chipped. One plate was cracked. They need to be replaced. The bedding was mediocre and should be upgraded. The washer worked well but not the drying function. If you are staying for more than a week, you will need to buy toilet paper and paper towels. The cleaning supplies were not the best. If the idea is that the guest will clean the apartment before they leave then better cleaning supplies should be provided.

The apartment was just around the corner from the flower market, which we went to nearly every morning. Getting into the apartment was the tricky part to begin with. On entering the 4 digit number, press the letter code and pull the door at the same time. It feels a bit awkward to begin with but it works. The apartment was a bit on the dark side but was well equipped and clean. It is surrounded by restaurants and bars with a small grocery store 50m from the front door. This area is well covered by public transport and their is no need for a car. Thanks to the local office who were on the ball with a query. Would I go there again? Without a doubt.

The check in process was complicated. The email instructions I received was from under another name and was missed. We arrived late and wasnt able to contact the host for the check in. So i booked another stay for the night. The access to the key was really far from the unit (1.4 kms away). The location was good, but it's really not worth the hassle during check in and check out.
