The location was by far the highlight 11/10. Everything you could possibly need is right on your doorstep, the tram is only a few minutes away, and you’re perfectly located to explore both the Old Town and all the main sights of Nice. We also loved how quiet the apartment was despite its central location, with no noticeable noise day or night. Communication with the owner was smooth and easy throughout, with quick responses

Unfortunately, almost everything else fell below expectations. The cleanliness was poor, with bed sheets and towels that smelled damp and did not feel freshly prepared. Basic amenities were insufficient for the length of the stay, and concerns raised during our visit were not addressed. For example, we were provided with only one and a half rolls of toilet paper for a 5–6 day stay for two people. The apartment also suffered from maintenance issues. The curtain pole had fallen down before our arrival and remained on the floor throughout our stay, leaving us without proper curtains and therefore with very little privacy. We were told there had not been time to fix it! The sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable, with a very poor-quality mattress. We also experienced an unsettling situation where another guest was mistakenly directed to our apartment and attempted to enter. Overall, while the location is outstanding, the property needs to seriously improve its standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and guest amenities.

A lot of stairs..3rd floor...but ok for anyone fit and healthy! A bit of an issue knowing how to use some appliances but owner was helpful

Location was absolutely fabulous. Couldn’t have been in a better place. Netflix was a lovely surprise. The kitchen was well equipped. A/C was great. Coffee pods were a great addition. Prompt attention to enquiries by host.

We have been travelling across Spain and France for the past 2 weeks and this accomodation was the worst by far. We were provided with half a roll of toilet paper for a 4 night stay, a broken shower wand, no sugar or tea provided, no ironing board even though there was an iron, and no drying rack. When we arrived the smoke alarm was beeping, we advised the host who replied promptly but told us it was fine to disable it which is dangerous in an old building. While the bathroom and kitchen were clean the place is in serious need of a spring clean as there is at least 6 months worth of dust on skirting boards and anywhere out of sight. The tiny sachet of dish washing liquid was also inadequate for the length of stay.
