About this house rental

An ideal starting point to discover the best of Bavaria - in a very well-equipped house, not far from the airport and centrally located to visit major attractions in Bavaria. Good connection to Munich. Timeless and high quality furniture and located directly on a flora-fauna habitat reserve. With Veranda + large garden ideal for groups. Bathing lake just a few hundred meters away. Nice big beer garden in the village (3000 seats!).

Additionally bookable:
– Party tent (Partyzelt) 4x8m € 200,- for up to three days including set-up supervising (in person or over the phone)
– Hot tub (Große Wanne), in the garden, for 4 persons, heatable with wood (included). 1 day € 60,-; additional days € 30,- each.

Discover Bavaria - regardless of whether one of the royal castles (especially, of course Herrenchiemsee on Chiemsee, the "Bavarian sea" or Neuschwanstein), "Allianz Arena" (football stadium), the Bavarian Forest, the medieval Nuremberg or Rothenburg od T. Also Ingolstadt with its lovely old town and Audi and Landshut (Landshut Wedding, Old Town) are within easy reach. For children Legoland (Günzburg), Pullman City (Eging) and the Kaltenberg Knights' Tournament are certainly the highlights. And of course, Munich, with its many attractions. The main thing is you have a car, so that you can travel more easily! If not, that's not the end: it brings the nearby railway line (20min walk (2km) or short drive by car, taxi or bike) in 38 minutes to the Munich main train station.
We even have a beautiful lake, a large beer garden (the largest outside of Munich) and a good restaurant in the village.

Our house has 4 double bedrooms, 2 with 180x200 beds made of teak, two with comfortable sofa beds (160x200). One room is located on the top floor alone, it is open toward the staircase. In the living room there is a further, very comfortable, sofa bed made of high quality leather for 2 people (mattress 160x210). If necessary, 4 guest beds 90x200 can be put in.
A total of 14 people can currently be accommodated in the house.
And of course you can camp in the garden or sleep in the caravan (sleeps 4).
The double rooms are opened depending on the amount of people booked and prepared by us, e. g. if you book for 5 people you get two doubles and one single room, the 4th bedroom would be locked. Bookings can always be altered to incorporate more guests.

View from the house to the south in the Amper (Flora Fauna Habitat (FFH) area), large garden with pond, big tub. bathing lake (very high water quality), riding (horses available, nice riding area) and sports facilities (tennis, football, beach volleyball, inline skating, etc.). Large beer garden (3000 seats), nice restaurant.

Bed linen, towels, free Wi-Fi (16 Mbit) included. Washing machine.
Projector and screen 2x3m, television (HDTV), DVD player, Apple TV (streaming music and video (FullHD) of computer, iPhone, Smartphone etc. via AirPlay). Telephone, Wi-Fi + (coming soon) TV / monitor in all rooms.

We were looking for a nice comfortable place outside of a city where we could live "like a German." This house was very cozy and comfortable and fit the bill perfectly! The beds were comfortable and it had all of the ammenities that you could want (though I would of loved to have had a dryer since hanging clothes didn't do the trick). Christoph was extremely accommodating and very easy to work with. I read some reviews about there being "too many rules in the house", this is not the case. There is a lot of communication around the house and I for one was grateful as we were visiting a different country where things don't work the way they do at home. I was glad that Christoph was kind enough to leave a lot of notes around to help you navigate thoughout the house and all while staying there. The house is close enough to Munich and everything you need or want to visit and yet far away enough to keep you in a quiet, relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere to wind down the day. There is a great beer garden not too far where we spent a lot of time and there is a swimming lake close by as well. This is a fantastic place to stay that gives you the best of all of the worlds in Germany! Thank you for allowing us to share in this! There is one recommendation that I would share if you are sleeping in the upstairs bedroom and want to keep the windows open. It is to bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. There is a beaufiul pond on the grounds, but at night the frogs like to have croaking contests. If the place had a dryer and no frogs, I would call it a perfect paradise! Even without the dryer and with the frogs, this is a great place to stay and enjoy yourself. Would definitley stay there again.

My entire family enjoyed the peaceful natural setting of this property. It is conveniently located not too far from the airport and we found it a good base for all our visits to the Freising and Munich area. The house itself is laid out very well with sleeping areas in each floor, a well equipped kitchen and dining room and modern AV equipment in the living room. We found all the things necessary for a very comfortable stay during the three nights we were there. We also spend a lot of time out in the patio and in the backyard soaking in the sun and enjoying our food and drinks. The town of Haag is very quaint with a nice large beer garden which we enjoyed. There is also a bathing lake close to the property which the kids loved to swim in. There are little things such as a phone land-line in the house with unlimited calls within Germany that make it all the more convenient. The WiFi was pretty high speed and worked great. The owner, Christoph, went out of the way to take care of our needs. He met us at the property when we checked in and was there when we checked out and was reachable all the time. We found him to be very friendly and helpful. Overall, this is a great place and I would definitely come back here in future and would strongly recommend this to anyone who enjoys the peace and quiet of the countryside and at the same time needing convenient access to the city.
