We stayed in the Boat House and it was exceptional. The room was big and light, the bed was comfortable and the facilities were good. The breakfast was healthy and tasty. On two days we ate breakfast on the patio overlooking the pretty garden. The hosts were very welcoming, informative and helpful. The shuttle to the Tongariro Alpine Crossing was smooth and easy. The lakeside for kayaking, swimming and paddling was just 100m away.

Hosts were thoughtful and friendly. Accommodation and the garden were so pretty and spotless. We loved the peace and quiet of the setting. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was a wonderful bonus. Would highly recommend.

We stayed here recently for 3 days but wish it was longer We had the superior studio apartment which is separate from the house and very private Furnished to a very high standard and we had breakfast each day in the garden What really makes this place special is the owners Barb and Mike They are on hand if you need any info but also let you have utmost privacy if required We felt like we were staying with old friends The property is 2 mins from the lake where you walk/swim or just relax There are also kayaks Onsite you use We stayed here as were doing the Tongariro Alpine Crossing Hike and the owners have a shuttle service to the start and finish Barb also recommended and booked local restaurants for us which were ideal Would Highly Recommend
