I really wanted it to be a 10 out of 10.
The grounds and room were immaculately, kept sizable and well presented.
The bed was extremely uncomfortable. I was up several times during the night and left the next day with a sore neck and shoulder due to the lack of quality in the mattress.

We loved the tranquil setting and being rural people ourselves appreciated the quietness.
The breakfast was perfect for our requirements. When eating out at cafe's, etc it is very hard to get a light continental type breakfast so suited us perfectly and there was plenty of variety and the quantity was generous too.

Pleasant and relaxing stay
Great facility, bed was very comfortable, spa provided with spa towels. Yummy breakfast available with lots of food and drink options. No AC but ceiling fan was nice. Hairdryer and bathroom essentials were provided. Awesome view out of the window in the morning, beautiful garden. Host was very accommodating for us to get ready early as we were heading off to a wedding.
The only thing missing was shampoo, however as long as people know this is not provided, it is easy enough to bring - I will know for next time!

The location of this property is superb for rowing. You walk out the gate at you are at the lake. Very convenient for a rowing regatta.

Beautiful, tranquil property that is a slice of heaven.
The room looked out on a beautiful property with gorgeous gardens, a koi fish filled pond, fire pit area and hot tub. Very private and relaxing. The little dog greeter Lola was adorable. The breakfast was a great variety of items. Megan was very nice.
