everything about the property was perfect. the whole accommodation was wonderfully thought through. the rooms have a sink, spare slippers. the shared kitchen has everything you would need (even down to snacks, clingfilm, foil etc). It’s one of the best places i have a stayed in

Great location, close to the market and restaurant, nice view from the balcony, close to the hiking trails

Lovely stay in a beautiful village. Helena, the owner was welcoming and friendly making our stay comfortable and memorable. We had a large room with a stunning view and the calming sound of the river. The small kitchen upstairs was very user friendly and easily shared with the other guests who were all friendly and considerate. The toilet and shower next to our room were clean and there was a basin in our room which was convenient. It is very convenient for the Julian trail and the Mosnica gorge.

The house is about 2km from the lake and the buses stop early (if you’re here in midsummer there’s a shuttle bus which eliminates that issue). However there are also bicycles available for use and the walk into the lake area is flat.

I have used booking.com for several years and found the reviews to be realistic and helpful. If a place has an average around 9 I have always had a great experience. This is the first time I have been disappointed. The location is great and having a kitchen helpful, but there were a number of small issues which collectively lead to a sub optimal overall experience

If I was back in my 20s and paying half the price this place would have been fine. However relative to other places we have stayed at in Slovenia for the same price, the overall experience was well below expectations.
