Absolutely amazing property. Beautifully restored, a joy to stay in. Everything has been thought of to make your stay a memorable one. Definitely climb the tower for spectacular views. If you are doing the coastal Camino it is a 40minute walk from Caminha or a 5 euro taxi journey. It is on the linking Camino between the coastal and central routes.

This is my second time visiting. I love it. After a day walking the Camino this was the perfect place to relax. A refreshing dip in the pool help to ease weary legs. And being offered little ice creams while resting by the pool was so nice. Amazing staff - dreamy beds. Excellent shower - great power. Had a gorgeous breakfast the next morning before setting off on Camino again
If breakfast could be earlier it would be perfect. Breakfast starts at 8.30am which is kind of late for Camino guests like me who prefer to start walking around 8am. A breakfast start closer to 7 or 7.30 would be perfect.

We had 3 rooms at this property as we were 4 friends walking the Litoral Route of the Portuguese Camino. This place is really special, and our only regret is that we didn't have more time to spend here. I would have loved to enjoy a glass of wine or beer from the tower with a view of the sunset and sea. Our rooms and bathrooms were huge. We were very lucky that we had run of the house--we were the only people with a reservation the night we stayed. After dinner, we came back and enjoyed wine in the cellar. During the day, we enjoyed the pool. The grounds are really beautiful and well maintained. Breakfast was varied and set up beautifully in the breakfast area.
Everything was 100% perfect!
