Hotel Flor De Sal by The Editory

We had a great few night at the Flor de Sal. Well located, right on the ocean front, it provides amazing views out to sea. It’s just a short 3 min drive into town and restaurants. There is a great waterfront promenade just out front with plenty of opportunities for running, walking, and biking. There is plenty of free parking right in front of the hotel. Our room was large, bright, and airy with tremendous sea views. The balcony was exceptionally large with some sun loungers to relax in. Everything in the room worked fine and we were very comfortable hanging out there. The buffet breakfast was amazing – great variety, plenty of option – and very low key which was relaxing. There is a commercial gym on site which guests can use for free. The gym is super – complete with a large variety of gear, though it can get a little busy in there during peak hours. Overall we had an amazing stay and would recommend it to other travelers.

Breakfast could be a bit more modern

It’s a spacious hotel with nice see views. Staff are friendly. Breakfast was very good.

The hotel and the building are slightly on the tired side, and in need of some TLC. We were put into one of the back rooms, (the hotel was almost empty) with car park view. It would have been nice if they checked us into a sea view room. The room itself was bland and a bit old and had no electric socket anyway, apart from the sitting room which was far from the bed.
