We had great, friendly stay in Hotel zum Toni. We will fcertainly return there.

The breakfast is reach with many food options. The hotel is really a friendly, clean and quiet place. We also liked a disco club which was opened long ago in 1968. It is a large, lively place in the basement, that was nice surprise when we discovered it.

Very simple but welcoming warm and comfortable place. Tony was very nice and kind. Breakfast simple but sufficient. Location is inside the town but had quite nice view.

Zweckmäßige Pension/3* Hotel in bester Lage Wir konnten am selben Tag noch buchen und anreisen! Sehr freundliches Personal auch jetzt zum Ende der Saison!! Sehr gutes Frühstück, Wurst und Käse sehr fein aufgeschnitten, so lieben wir es!! Eierspeise und Spiegelei werden nach Wunsch ganz frisch zubereitet 👍

Absolut zu empfehlen! Einfach (,) gut!!

Gute Lage: ca. 10 min zu Fuß ins Zentrum, 20 min zum Busbahnhof bzw. zur Schlossalmbahn. Der ÖBB Bahnhof liegt recht weit außerhalb (Bus 558 oder Taxi, s. Gasteinertal.com, ca. 25€). Für die Autofahrer gibt's Parkplätze vorm Haus. Die Zimmer sind entsprechend einem 3-Sterne-Haus gut ausgestattet und gemütlich. Alle haben Balkon (glaube ich). Das Frühstück ist reichlich und lecker. Das Abendessen - ich hatte Halbpension - ist ein 3-Gänge-Menue und überaus lecker! Der Küchenchef kocht alles frisch und eigenhändig. Die Portionen sind nicht riesig, aber ich wurde immer satt: Qualität statt Quantität. Das Personal inklusive Chef ist super, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Danke euch, es war klasse!! Der Glocknerkeller unten im Haus ist ein sehr nettes Tanzlokal, wo die Kurgäste zu Schlager und Songs aus den 80ern die Hüften schwingen. Der Chef selber legt auf und erfüllt auch Musikwünsche. In den Zimmern hört man übrigens absolut nichts von der Musik im Keller! Er hat auch nur von Donnerstag bis Samstag jeweils ab 19 Uhr offen. Wenn ich's richtig verstanden habe, mit open end. Damit ist der Glocknerkeller die tragende Säule des Hofgasteiner Nachtlebens, soweit ich das beurteilen kann. Die meisten Läden machen um 22, spätestens 23 Uhr dicht (löbliche Ausnahme: Treffpunkt 5630, Kirchplatz 1).

Vorsicht!

Das Frühstück und das Abendessen waren voll in Ordnung.

Wir hatten über Booking 1 Doppelzimmer mit HP für 2 Nächte gebucht und wollten unbedingt ein größeres Komfortzimmer mit 26 qm. Dafür haben wir zusätzlich 32€ für die beiden Nächte bezahlt. Der komplette Betrag war vorab zu bezahlen. Als wir ankamen bekamen wir lediglich ein kleineres Standardzimmer. Auf unsere Beschwerde hin wurde uns erklärt, dass im Zimmer schließlich ein neues Bett wäre. Den Mehrbetrag von 32€ bekamen wir NICHT erstattet und wir erhielten auch keine Entschuldigung. Wir fühlen uns betrogen und sind über diese Vorgehensweise sehr enttäuscht.
