Back again for the fishing tbh. Great location, easy reach for local pub.
Comfortable beds, quiet location, all cooking facilities available etc..
Shame about the weather which you can't dictate .
Unfortunately, the fishing wasn't great this time around...

Faultless - even better than advertised and the perfect little getaway for us and our dog. We will definitely be returning!
Everything was perfect.

We go every year with our dog as a nice back to basics trip/ social media break. The place is just beautiful. The cabin is spotless and the outside showers we absolutely love. BBQ watching the sun go down is just 10/10.
Nothing we go annually.

La cabaña estaba bien con lo justo y necesario
This place was a total letdown. First of all, there is zero privacy — the neighboring cabin is right next door, and people could literally see us coming out of the shower and bathroom. None of this was shown in the photos, which feels incredibly misleading and frankly unacceptable.
The cleanliness was also appalling. The kitchen was grimy, and the cabin was full of cobwebs — it felt neglected and unhygienic. To make things worse, my partner had a severe allergic reaction (possibly due to dust or mold), and we were forced to leave a whole night early in an emergency.
If you’re planning to bring food, beware: the ice packs they provide do not keep anything cold, so bring your own or your food will spoil. The location is also terrible — hard to find, right next to a road, and literally in the middle of nowhere. There’s absolutely nothing to do.
The host was nice at first but completely stopped replying to messages after we left. Overall, a bad experience that left a really bitter taste. Would not recommend.

The cabin its self was beautiful, had everything we needed and was very comfy with a cosy feel. George was brilliant we had trouble getting the gas cooker to work and he came straight over and sorted it so we could have a cup of tea! Surrounding were lovely.
Cabins are closet together than we thought a little less private than we had hoped and people in other cabin had teenage children who were swearing at each other in the evening, this is nothing that could be helped from George unfortunately if the cabins were maybe further apart we wouldn't have heard . The shower was roomy maybe if the composting toilet was the same size as the shower would be a little better to allow for more room, but overall enjoyed our stay .

The cabin was exceptionally clean and well presented. Although we took everything with us, everything you'd need for a short stay was provided, even a doggy bed and small bowl! The firepit is amazing with plenty of wood provided. If you want a bbq, just take a wire tray to cook on (there maybe one on site, we didn't see one as we had our own)

The location was spot on 20mm walk to pub or 10 min drive to Nantwich or Whitchurch peace full lovely ponds and surroundings everything you needed was at hand and the staff were very friendly and helpful too
Not been able to park outside the cabin due to insurance purposes but didn’t stop us enjoying our stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, George went out of his way for us and brought a BBQ down although the gas hob is fine for usual cooking. The location is lovely, we could have stayed all week! We took our dogs who also enjoyed their time at the cabin. We were there when none of the other cabins were booked out so had the place to ourselves which was lovely and quiet. The bed was amazingly comfy and George had provided everything you could need even down to a dog bed and bowl and mirror for myself which was handy for the morning. If you book a night here you will not be disappointed, you will only wish you could stay longer! I'm sure we will be back! The only downside was my partner didn't catch any carp lol although we managed a few tiddlers! Many Thanks for a lovely stay ☺️
Nothing! If we came again I’d probably bring a lounger and just stay longer!

We absolutely love this off the grid cabin. Really is so tranquil and a lovely escape from our busy, chaotic lives. Lots of walks around the area and along the canal, with lovely little pubs in walking distance for some food if you don't fancy cooking . The cabin is always spotless and the owner has thought of everything you might need, even a clean dog bed and bowls! Can't wait to book again.

We loved everything, the hut, the setting, the lakes, the facilities and telling tales around the camp fire!

What a spot! Beautiful views over the lakes, great facilities. Plenty of parking and a dog activity park, the pooches loved it 👍 Owner George is very accomodating, especially when I cocked up my booking!!

Great for the dog - she loved exploring the grounds and the nearby canal walks 🐕
My partner enjoyed fishing on the lake outside the cabin and caught 4 grass carp and a tench during our stay 🎣
The cabin was clean and comfortable. It was well equipped with essentials, and some extras such as hot water bottles which were welcomed at night!
We enjoyed everything

Well equipped.
Closer to
Car Park than anticipated.
Good rail links not far away..
Staff were very helpful.
Sofa bed could be thicker as not that comfy.
Struggled with getting lights on,needs to be clearer about which remote to use for lights.

We had an absolutely incredible experience staying at the glamping cabins. The setting is beautiful, diverse and incredibly private. The cabin itself is extremely luxurious, spacious and well equipped.
What really sets this stay apart from other similar experiences is the attention to detail. Inside you will find spare blankets for when it's cold. Wood fuel for the fire pit. An ice box complete with ice. Full inventory of cooking supplies. Camping chairs. The list goes on. Right down to a deck of playing cards on the coffee table.
Now there isn't really anything we disliked. Just some things to be aware of should you stay here. The cabin lights are powered by a leisure battery and hot water is provided by a small generator. As such, there is no facility for connecting appliances to mains electricity. This isn't necessarily a negative point as it adds to the experience of being out in nature and enjoying your loved ones without distractions.
