Prima huisje, prachtig terrein

We hadden voor 3 volwassenen geboekt maar er was alleen een 2 persoonsbed. Er was dus ‘gelukkig’ iemand afgevallen in ons gezelschap!

Lovely location - right next to canal and only 20 minute walk into the village. Very relaxing site. Large accommodation - everything you need. Bed was comfortable.

The toilet is a little walk from the cabin which isn’t great during the night or if it rains. The outdoor kitchen area has a low ceiling so difficult to not hit your head if your are tall and cooking.

Dust in the property, didn’t seem to be cleaned often, girlfriend couldn’t stop sneezing due to dust and we had to clean the bed before we got in it as there was dust on the headrest. Outdoor facilities were not very clean with a lot of cobwebs and dirt in the shower which would be understandable as it’s outside but it’s clear it hadn’t been cleaned in a while as there was a lot of cobwebs where we were meant to cook and shower. Difficult to use shower and cooking areas being 6ft1 as the roof was so low, had to duck to get into the shower. And bend over when cleaning the dishes. Compost toilet was unusable for me as I could not sit down & close the door due to how small it was. The shared bathroom had a concerning brown stain on the shower curtain and once again the roof was so low and I hit my head on the light bulb which I was lucky did not smash on my head. It was also a shame of the noise around the property, very loud noises of what sounded like lorry’s and or bikes passing by.
