Tranquil and beautiful

From the moment we arrived to the time we left it was such an amazing and relaxing time. The lodge is beautiful, comfortable and absolutely everything you need is in the lodge. Hot tub was lovely and we loved it so much we have booked another 3 stays at the lodge. Thank you for a wonderful time.

The place was beautiful! So clean and tidy and so very welcoming. Hosts were lovely too, clearly a lot of thought has gone into making Badger's Wood an idyllic place to stay.

Lovely cabin accommodation in a quiet location surrounded by woods, that has everything needed for a short self-catering stay. Ample room for 2 adults and 2 teenagers, comfortable beds and a lovely warm welcome from the hosts Edward and Carolyn. We had a really lovely stay!

The hosts were so welcoming and friendly. The lodge itself was cosy and comfortable - absolutely loved the underfloor heating. Has everything you need and the hot tub was an amazing addition. We sat in it late in the evening and listened to the owl and the wildlife

Another lovely stay

We had another lovely stay here and will continue to come back. Such a peaceful, beautiful and amazing trip away. Just what we needed for our anniversary. The dog also loves it here too.

We're sure this is an amazing place to stay when the paddock isn't used as a car park

We were met in a friendly way and show around, which was lovely.

We were not told until on the day that the field next door would be a car park for the one full day we were staying. This meant we had an ongoing audience when cooking lunch on the BBQ (the cooker door didn't close so we couldn't use it) and the younger members of our family were not happy to use the hot tub as planned during the daytime because they would be seen. In the evening when the car park was clear, it was too chilly for our children to use the the hot tub. The cars didn't smell nice, were noisy and meant it wasn't relaxing. So disappointing when we had looked forward to this treat of a break. It wasn't a treat at all! Had we been told in advance we could easily have moved to another date. We were also not told that the oven door didn't shut and therefore you couldn't cook.
