The room was so disappointing and the odour of seafood/fish so intrusive that we checked out.

The location was excellent

The hotel smells of seafood as it is above a large restaurant. The entrance door was locked so we had to go in through the kitchen entrance next door. The receptionist was charming and friendly but the room was disappointing with a lack of facilities.

Excellent staff, location and restaurant, rooms a bit basic, but for the price I'd go again.

It's a fabulous location right in the centre of Trouville, they have parking at only 15€ a night which is precious in Trouville, the staff are all excellent, friendly and efficient. The breakfast was good for the price and their croissants were home made and lived up to their award winning claim. The restaurant is really good with efficient, professional and friendly service.

The negatives were that the double bed was tiny and only one of the plugs in the bedroom worked. The rooms are quite basic and in need of a refurb really. But for the price it was still good value.

The location was very good with plenty of restaurants close by. The bed was comfortable and a nicely equipped bathroom..The hotel was close to the main beach.

The bedroom was needing a few repairs, the lamp wasn't working & it would have been nice to have a safe

Beautiful Hotel with sadly to things to pay attention too

The Hotel lies beautifully in the city centre, the building is amazing, the vue from our rooms was beautiful and the room very comfortable. We loved our canopy bed!

There were only three parking spots and those were obviously used so we didn't get a parking spot like promised and had to park our car elsewhere wich left us with 30€ in parking which was an unexpected expense and for the breakfast it was a very typical French breakfast wich didn't really give you a lot of choices and the staff was kinda distracted and not very observent of what people need in the room which even lead to basically the cleaning lady having to serve everybody

The location and the staff, particularly at the breakfast service. The breakfast was also very good.

The room was small and had four chairs in it which made it seem even smaller and were unnecessary. The decor in the hotel corridors and bedroom were in need of updating.

Great location. A lot of amenities around and relatively close to the beach

It was dirty. There were dust bunnies and hair in the drawers. The carpet had crumbs when we checked in. The fan/Ac in the room had layers of dust on it. Asked the reception these things to be taken care of whilst we were out. When we came back all was the same.

Great place to stay for a short trip!

The room was very comfortable for my family and I. The check-in was easy and the hotel was very central to the little town. We could walk everywhere. The restaurant below was also very good, and we got priority seating because we were hotel guests.

Because we were above the restaurant, the hallways of the hotel smelled heavily of seafood.

Old traditional and beautiful hotel near seaside.

Hotelroom was pretty and with bath and shower. View from window is to casino and sunset. Hotel is traditional, old and lovely.

Back in time

It's a vibrating atmosphere. Everyone is very busy in the brasserie and it looks like being back in time. Fantastic!

Lovely authentic historic hotel

The hotel is in a great location other than there is a little noise from the road, but then the location wouldn't be so great a catch 22, you simply would not have a wonderful view of the harbour. We enjoyed the restaurant and breakfast as the authenticity of the hotel has been maintained. Restaurant staff were superb so nice to observe properly trained staff at work and who have a pride in their job.

Very adequate hotel with a fine location - - -Pity about the link to the ground floor restaurant.

Location is perfect with clear views of the seaway into Trouville fishing harbour from the breakfast room. Breakfast was much improved by the very pleasant personality of our table waitress. A good example of how to make a guest welcome. Our bedroom on the third floor was overlooking the street, and close to the lift. None of this was a problem. As a Three Star hotel, the overall appearance was only just about right. The link to the restaurant on the ground floor is not a plus in my opinion. Staff and service there did not match the hotel side of the establishment. Knowing this now, we would have chosen from many more restaurants in the town.

It's not a complaint but - - - - -As an option, the hotel offer rates for breakfast, lunch and dinner. When we sat down to dinner, we indicated our room number to the waiter. The response was just an OK. When I came to pay the bill (i) it could not be charged to the room and (ii) it far exceeded the rate offered by the hotel. There should be more clarity here. But for me, I will book the hotel again but not the restaurant as it was over priced and not value for money.

An amazing place! Wow!

Super option!!! Very clean. The location is the best in the city. Great retro atmosphere. Opposite the fish market. The first floor is a large restaurant with a focus on fish dishes. Hotel as part of the restaurant and its continuation. The price/quality ratio surprised us. The hotel staff and of course the restaurant-do their job perfectly!

Parfait pour un combiné hôtel - brasserie

Pour nous, le plus important était de loger au dessus de la "Brasserie Le Central Trouville" où nous avions réservé une table pour déjeuner. C'était facile et pas besoin de se déplacer en voiture après un repas avec vins... Les chambres ne sont pas très luxueuses mais ce n'est pas ce que nous cherchions. Nous cherchions un emplacement central avec une chambre qui dispose de tout ce qui est de plus standard mais complet et propre.
