Avoid at all costs, awful room and poor management

The room was falling apart

Our room was so poor, the shower door fell off on top of me, the water wasn’t hot (we had a cold shower), the WiFi kept cutting out and the surfaces weren’t that clean including the bed sheet. I asked for a partial refund and they refused even despite them admitting there was a problem with the hot water; us showing the WiFi cutting out and pictures of the shower door falling apart which was so dangerous.m

Christmas Markets Trip

Very near to the Christmas market and easy to reach the old town, 15 mins walk. Host/Reception are friendly, courteous and very helpful. Nice breakfast option.

Shower in my room - shower head cannot be adjust higher so impossible to wash hair using both hands. Drainage is clogged is I have little pool every time. Not so big deal though as I stayed only for 2 nights.

No elevator! Room super small with window facing a wall, neighborhood was not good, too close to train station and a park full of vagrants.

Good budget hotel and friendly stuff

The room was clean and bed was comfortable as well as the pillows Breakfast was ok for the modest price of your stay (adding cucumbers or cherry tomatoes would be nice) Staff super friendly, helpful and smiling

First my mistake I didn’t know there was no AC so basically the nights were hot . The fan would ease but not the enough The location is near a train station . Not the safest location at night but it was ok for us . It’s 20 kin walk to the city and very near of metro/tram station

Great hotel for our short family stay in Lyon

It was a lovely hotel. Very comfortable and clean with modern interior and furnishings for our short stay in Lyon. It was in a great spot with good transport connections so very easy to get around and make the most of our trip. The room was very comfortable and we enjoyed a very quiet night sleep here especially given the central location. The hotel staff were also excellent. A lovely warm welcome and some wonderful tips about where to explore, what to go and see and where to eat. We hope to visit Lyon again and would definitely stay here.

Fabulous staff and with a makeover this could be an excellent hotel but it's far too expensive as is

Excellent breakfast, large room and bathroom. Desk and chairs in room. Good lighting. Great water pressure. Staff were exceptional - friendly, helpful and obliging in every way. Quality bedding. Very quiet.

Unappealing location right near the train station. Building a bit run down, making the hotel dingy and tired looking. Decor dull and a bit depressing. Shower drainage is too slow for the water flow - flooding of shower after a few minutes. Hand held showe only. No tissues or toiletries supplied, just basic hair/body gel. Ni toilet roll holder and toilet seat was detached from toilet. Towels thin and basic. No face washed.

the location was spot on, easy walk around the center and restaurants, also close to Perache train station, which is a big plus as the weater wasn't kind during our stay. The was of a good size, quiet and somehow comfy.

Very clean and well maintained - superb location 2 min walk from Lyon’s la perrache rail station

My only criticism was the complete lack of a kettle and cups and a baby fridge - there was no tea making or basic food preparation to snack possible

Close to train and local transport and in a quiet location. Short walk to old town . Staff and management very friendly. Good breakfast in relaxed environment. We enjoyed our 3 night stay.

Easy access to transport hub and close to Belle Cour

Located across from very ugly transport hub - but my room had a window opening onto internal void so the room was quiet and felt private. Having said that being so close to the transport hub had its advantages for getting around ☺️

Do not consider old comments, they were made before the hotel was renovate.

Fully renovated hotel, very comfortable cheap and close to the train station, they even update my room for free, I had a double room for the price of a single room.
