Location, it was very clean, great option

The aircon was funny, keeps turning off and it was super hot

It’s a great location in the old town and very vibrant . Plenty of food and drink nearby (literally on the doorstep). Room was small but all that was needed was present, very clean and with excellent WiFi. Coffee machine was also a nice touch. Communication from Alberto was excellent from the outset.

If you are not good with navigation (like me) then get Alberto or reception to give to the google maps location of the front door . Alberto was kind enough to enter the location on my phone so it was not a problem. However, I would have walked past the door without it.

The location was brilliant for enjoying the party atmosphere of the New Square. It was close to bus and tram stops and the Metro, all cheap and efficient. It was one small room with an alcove bathroom, comfortable and clean.

Check in was a bit difficult as we had to walk to reception round the corner but that wouldn't stop us from staying there again.

It was clean in the room

There was no soundproofing. It’s located in the heart of the old town, where people drink and hang out all night long (not just on weekends). I had a hunch this would be the case, but now I wouldn’t recommend staying here for just one night if you’re just passing through. A major downside for me is that the room door doesn’t lock from the inside; it’s just a magnetic door with a code on the outside that the staff know. On top of everything else, it was quite difficult to find the property, despite the directions, because there are no signs on it—it’s just an apartment building entrance. The entrance is under an archway by the trash bins, where there’s a lot of sticky liquid spilled nearby, and a homeless person lives nearby.
