Modern, well equipped cottage located 2,5 KM from Ballater with its shops, excellent restaurants and attractions. Attentive hosts who facilitated the overall process. Comfortable beds and generally well furnished although the coffee machine could do with replacing.
The cottage is part of a farm complex consisting of four or five buildings. One imagines that if all the accommodation were occupied there would be less privacy than was the case for us. Ballater is close by, but only really reachable by car via a typically narrow road and finding the cottage is not entirely straightforward!

Accommodation was absolutely lovely. Location just what we wanted. Rural, quiet, plenty of walking but within a stones throw of the shops and eateries in Ballater.

Lovely cottage very comfortable everything you need for a relaxing stay. Location perfect only a short drive into Ballater and not far to Balmoral. Lovely walks in the woods. Overall perfect cottage for a short break for 2 people plus a Great Host!
