Spacious and comfortable, well stocked, gold location.

The location of the cottage in Ballater is excellent - within a very short walking distance of everything, yet in a quiet street with very little noise. Off-street parking is easy and convenient next to the back door. Beds and living areas are very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked for self-catering. The town of Ballater has many restaurants if you prefer not to cook. Communication with Graham, the owner, was always quick and easy. The outdoor seating in the courtyard would be great in warm weather (unfortunately it was too cold for us). Ballater is also a good central location for hiking in this area of the Cairngorms.

Spacious, well equipped cottage in a fantastic location, Good sized bedrooms and 2 reception rooms meant plenty of space to spread out. Plus a lovely outdoor space as well.

The location was also a major highlight. It was conveniently situated close to local walks and shops making it easy to explore the area without any hassle. Despite being so accessible, the neighborhood itself was quiet and peaceful, which made for a very fun and relaxing stay.
